This section has been used by La Vuelta 2018 on their 3rd stage coming from Coin towards Mijas. It starts on the roundabout on the A-387. The first 3 kilometres are steep with a 5.7% average incline and after that the road just goes up and down. We just have to mention the 2 short steep sections one on kilometre 4 and the other on kilometre 5 where the incline goes over 20%. There are lot of downhill sections to recover. All in all its an easy and fast section. The road surface is excellent.
