Dt Swiss M 502 29´´ 30 Db Vi Disc Tubeless Mtb Rim. Discover the sweet spot of all-mountain performance with the DT Swiss M 502 rim. Engineered to be "just wide enough, just light enough," its 30mm internal width provides excellent support for wider tires, letting you attack the toughest trails with confidence. By pairing benchmark aluminum with a robust sleeve-joint, it offers an unbeatable ratio of low weight (570g), impressive width, and value. Tubeless-ready with a secure hooked design and a durable ASTM 4 rating, the M 502 is the ultimate upgrade for aggressive trail riders seeking performance without the price tag. Just wide enough, just light enough. At 30 mm internal rim width the M 502 works for tires ranging from slightly wide to quite wide, allowing it to attack the hardest of terrains. DT Swiss´ benchmark rim material is combined with an economic sleeve-junction to offer the best ratio between low weight, big width and a low price. Features:System weight:- The system weight is composed of the weight of the rider and his equipment, plus the bike with luggage.Sleeve joint:- Sleeve joint refers to a method used in making rims. In this case, the two rim ends are pressed together via a molded aluminum part. This gives these rims a high degree of stability.Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC:- Hooked or crotchet refers to the shape of the rim flange. In this variant, the rim flange has a so-called hook. This supports the fixation of the tire bead and ensures safe function, also in high pressure use cases (>5 bar tire pressure). Tubeless refers to the ability of the rim to be used without a tube, but a tube set up is also possible.Brake Interface:- The advantage of the Center Lock system is that the disc brake attachment is made with one single lock ring, which facilitates assembly. On the other hand, an advantage of the IS-System (6 Bolt) is that in the event of a necessary repair on the trail, no special tool is needed for disassembly. Rim height:- In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, agility and weight of the wheel. The general principle is the higher the profile of the rim, the greater the aerodynamic advantage, the lower the profile of the rim, the greater the response and better the handling when cornering and changing speed. Rim Diameter:- The 700c (622 mm / 29 inches) is the most common wheel size for road racing. The 650b (584 mm / 27.5 inches) wheel size is used in specific areas. Each wheel size offers unique advantages for different kinds of riding.Rim Inner Width:- DT Swiss offers MTB rims with inner rim widths of 20 - 76 mm. The right combination of tire width and rim width leads to ideal tire support. Better tire support reduces the risk of ´´burping´´ and therefore allows the tire pressure to be reduced. On the other hand, wider rims and wider tires also increase the weight of the wheels.Specifications:- Net weight: 570 g - Recommended System weight max.: 120 kg- ASTM classification: 4- Material: Aluminium- Rim joint: Sleeve joint- Tire interface: Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC- Brake Interface: Disc- Rim Diameter: 29´´ / 700C - Reference diameter ERD: 602 mm- Inner Width: 30 mm- Outer width: 35 mm- Rim Height: 20 mm- Number of holes: 32- Spoke bore rim: Silver eyelet - Valve hole: Presta. tradeinn Bikeinn
