Dt Swiss U 623 29´´ 25 Mm Std Vi Disc Tubeless Mtb Rim. Engineered for the demands of modern e-touring, the DT Swiss U 623 29" rim offers exceptional strength and reliability. Its robust aluminum construction and wider cross-section are built to handle a massive maximum system weight of 180 kg, giving you lasting confidence on any terrain. From city streets to forest trails, this 25mm inner width, tubeless-ready disc rim ensures a stable and secure ride for heavily loaded bikes. Experience superior resistance and consistent performance on every journey. Built to withstand the heavier weights of e-touring bikes, the U 623 has superior resistance thanks to its larger rim cross section. This ensures consistent reliability on a variety of terrains with a maximum system weight of 180 kg. Whether in the city or on forest roads, this 29´´ rim will provide lasting confidence to its users.Features:System weight:- The system weight is composed of the weight of the rider and his equipment, plus the bike with luggage.Rim Diameter:- The 700c (622 mm / 29 inches) is the most common wheel size for road racing. The 650b (584 mm / 27.5 inches) wheel size is used in specific areas. Each wheel size offers unique advantages for different kinds of riding.Rim height:- In cycling, rim height significantly impacts the aerodynamics, agility and weight of the wheel. The general principle is the higher the profile of the rim, the greater the aerodynamic advantage, the lower the profile of the rim, the greater the response and better the handling when cornering and changing speed. Rim Inner Width:- DT Swiss offers MTB rims with inner rim widths of 20 - 76 mm. The right combination of tire width and rim width leads to ideal tire support. Better tire support reduces the risk of ´´burping´´ and therefore allows the tire pressure to be reduced. On the other hand, wider rims and wider tires also increase the weight of the wheels.Brake Interface:- The advantage of the Center Lock system is that the disc brake attachment is made with one single lock ring, which facilitates assembly. On the other hand, an advantage of the IS-System (6 Bolt) is that in the event of a necessary repair on the trail, no special tool is needed for disassembly. Pin joint:- Pin joint refers to a method used in making rims. In this case, the profile ends of the rim are connected using two steel pins. These pins are pressed down flush into the profile ends and ensure a stable connection.Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC:- Hooked or crotchet refers to the shape of the rim flange. In this variant, the rim flange has a so-called hook. This supports the fixation of the tire bead and ensures safe function, also in high pressure use cases (>5 bar tire pressure). Tubeless refers to the ability of the rim to be used without a tube, but a tube set up is also possible.
