MAXXIS Minion DHR II MaxxTerra Tubeless 29´´ x 2.40WT MTB TyreUnleash ultimate control and dominate the descents with the MAXXIS Minion DHR II, the definitive rear tyre for aggressive MTB cycling. Engineered as a complete redesign of the iconic original, the DHR II is built to provide superior performance in trail, enduro, and downhill conditions. This 29´´ tyre, in its Wide Trail (WT) 2.40 configuration, is perfectly optimized for modern, wider rims (30-35mm internal width), ensuring an ideal tread profile for maximum traction and a responsive feel. The genius of the Minion DHR II lies in its purpose-built tread design. With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other, offering unparalleled grip and confidence as you lean hard into berms and off-camber sections. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and reduce rolling resistance, allowing you to get up to speed quickly on flats and exits. Integrated sipes create a smooth transition when leaning the bike, providing a predictable and stable feel from the center to the edge knobs. When it's time to drop the anchor, the paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control, offering immense stopping power on steep chutes and loose terrain. This version is equipped with the advanced MaxxTerra compound, an intermediate configuration that offers an exceptional balance of sure-footed traction, long tread life, and reduced rolling resistance. It is the perfect choice for riders who demand reliable grip without sacrificing speed. Being Tubeless Ready, this folding tyre allows you to run lower pressures for enhanced traction and a smoother ride, all while significantly reducing the risk of pinch flats. For the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo, pair it with a Minion DHF up front!
