POC Cytal Carbon Road Helmet The POC Cytal Carbon Road Helmet is a result of POC’s continual pursuit of advancing both cycling performance and safety. With new features and technologies, the Cytal strikes the ideal balance of comfort, speed and safety should the worst happen. To create this advanced cycle helmet, POC has borrowed production techniques currently utilised on luxury sports cars. This sees a carbon wing seamlessly integrated into the structure, creating a helmet that is better able to support more even impact force distribution across the whole helmet. The carbon wing has also allowed POC to keep the weight of the Cytal impressively low and improve overall aerodynamics. Using CFD analysis, wind-tunnel testing and rider feedback, POC engineers used all the data collected to optimise cooling airflow. With the Carbon Wing design giving more structural strength, POC’s engineers were able to increase vent size for better cooling without compromising safety.  Those larger vents lead to internal flow channels that actively boost air intake while at the same time help to reduce drag via less restricted airflow through the helmet.  Go fast. The adjustment system spans from the temples and around the back of your head - this gives a quick and easy way to get a secure and comfortable fit on every ride.
