The Ridgeback Dimension 16" Kids Bike is a lightweight and stable bike designed to help young riders build confidence through easy handling, smooth pedalling, and safe control. Its light aluminium frame and components reduce overall weight, making it easier to manage at low speeds. Proportional Easy-Pedal cranks support a natural pedalling motion, while the steering limiter and lowered frame design improve balance and control as skills develop.Key Features and Benefits:Easy-Pedal cranks sized for shorter legs: The crank length matches a child's leg range and positions the pedals closer to the centre of the bike. This improves pedalling efficiency and reduces strain, helping your child maintain a smooth cadence and stay in control for longer rides.Lightweight aluminium frame and components: The reduced weight makes the bike easier to start, stop, and steer. This lowers effort during riding and improves handling, giving your child more control and steady progress as they learn.Steering limiter system: The built-in limit stop prevents the handlebars from turning too far. This reduces the risk of over-steering, helping your child maintain balance and avoid sudden falls while learning to coordinate movement.Lowered frame geometry: The low frame height makes it easier to get on and off the bike. This increases confidence during stops and starts, helping your child stay stable and in control at all times.Narrow grips and puncture-resistant tyres: Smaller diameter grips fit better in small hands and improve brake reach, while Nutrak by Vee Speedster tyres roll smoothly and resist punctures. This combination supports better control and fewer interruptions, so riding stays consistent and safe.A bike that is easy to handle and predictable to control helps children develop skills faster and with less frustration. The low weight, stable geometry, and carefully sized components work together to support balance, smooth pedalling, and safe braking. Each feature reduces effort and improves control, so your child can focus on building confidence with every ride. The Ridgeback Dimension 16 is built to make learning to ride simple and consistent. With its lightweight design, safety-focused features, and easy fit adjustments, it supports steady progress from the first ride onwards.Size Guide: Height - 100cm to 115cm / Age 3.5 to 6 Years
