The Pirelli P Zero Race SL-R TLR Tyre is a high-performance tubeless-ready road tyre built for maximum speed, low drag, and consistent grip in all conditions. It uses PAAS aerodynamic technology to reduce drag, a LITECORE casing for low rolling resistance and low weight, and a SmartEVO2 compound for reliable grip on wet and dry roads. The result is a tyre engineered for racing efficiency with precise handling and strong all-round performance.Key Features and Benefits:PAAS (Pirelli Advanced Aero System): This CFD-developed aerodynamic system shapes the tyre profile to integrate smoothly with modern wide rims. It reduces airflow separation and improves the rim sailing effect, which lowers aerodynamic drag. This leads to higher efficiency at speed and measurable gains during sustained efforts and racing conditions.LITECORE TLR construction: This lightweight tubeless-ready casing reduces material mass while maintaining structural strength. It improves rolling efficiency by allowing the tyre to deform more effectively over the road surface. The outcome is lower rolling resistance, improved comfort, and better traction without adding weight.SmartEVO2 compound: This advanced polymer blend is derived from motorsport development to balance speed and grip. It maintains traction across a wide temperature range and in wet or dry conditions. This ensures consistent handling, improved cornering control, and reliable braking performance.Tubeless ready design: Built to ETRTO standards and compatible with modern wide and hookless rims (within pressure limits), this design allows lower running pressures. This increases contact with the road and reduces vibration. The result is improved grip, reduced risk of punctures, and a smoother ride quality.Slick tread with micro-texture: The tread pattern uses a smooth central section with fine surface texturing. This reduces rolling resistance while maintaining surface grip. The outcome is efficient straight-line speed with controlled handling during cornering and braking.Made in Italy construction: Manufactured with tight quality control and precision processes, this ensures consistency across each tyre. This results in dependable performance, accurate sizing, and long-term reliability under demanding road use. This tyre is built to reduce resistance and maintain speed over long efforts. The aerodynamic profile works with modern rims to limit drag, while the LITECORE casing reduces energy loss through deformation. The SmartEVO2 compound supports stable grip when cornering at speed or braking under load. Together, these features support efficient power transfer and consistent performance across varied road conditions. For riders focused on speed, efficiency, and control, this tyre provides a clear performance advantage. Its low weight, aerodynamic shaping, and dependable grip make it a strong choice for road racing and fast training setups.
