The Ridgeback PNut KC 2.0 x Lazer Kids Helmet is a lightweight children's helmet built for comfort, safety and easy adjustment on balance bikes and first pedal bikes. The Turnfit adjustment system gives a quick and secure fit, while added temple coverage improves protection around sensitive areas of the head. A flatter rear shape works better with child seats, and the low 250g weight helps reduce pressure on young riders during longer rides. Insect net protection, skin-pinch prevention and LED light compatibility add practical safety features for daily use. Reduced plastic construction also lowers material use without affecting protection or fit.Key Features and Benefits:Turnfit adjustment system: A rear dial adjustment system lets you fine-tune the helmet fit quickly and securely. This helps keep the helmet stable while riding and reduces movement across uneven surfaces. The result is better comfort, more consistent protection and a fit that can adapt easily as your child grows.Child-friendly buckle design: The buckle sits on the cheek instead of directly under the chin to stop painful skin pinches during fastening. This makes the helmet easier and more comfortable to put on and remove, helping reduce irritation and making everyday use less stressful for both parent and child.Extra temple coverage: Additional protection around the temple area improves coverage across one of the skull's more sensitive zones. This added support increases overall safety during balance bike and first pedal bike use, helping provide better protection during low-speed falls or knocks.Insect net front vents: Integrated mesh inside the front vents stops insects from entering the helmet while still allowing airflow. This helps reduce distractions and discomfort during rides, keeping your child more focused and comfortable in warmer weather.Baby seat-ready rear shape: The flatter back section is designed to work better with child bike seats by allowing the head to rest naturally without being pushed forward. This improves neck comfort and head position, helping younger riders stay more relaxed during family rides.Lightweight and reduced plastic construction: At just 250g, the helmet places less strain on a child's neck and head during longer periods of use. The design also uses 70g less plastic than the previous Nut'Z MIPS CE model, reducing material use while maintaining strong everyday protection and comfort.A secure and comfortable fit matters most when choosing a child's helmet, especially for younger riders starting out on balance bikes or pedal bikes. The Turnfit system helps keep the helmet properly positioned without complicated adjustments, while the lightweight build reduces fatigue during longer rides. The flatter rear shape improves compatibility with child seats, and the optional rear LED light compatibility adds extra visibility for rides in lower light conditions. Combined with improved temple coverage and practical comfort features, the helmet is built to support regular family riding with less fuss and more consistency. The Ridgeback PNut KC 2.0 x Lazer Kids Helmet combines low weight, simple adjustment and practical safety features in a design made for younger riders. Its comfortable fit, child-friendly fastening system and added protection make it a strong choice for daily rides, family outings and early cycling confidence.
