The LOOK X-Track MTB Pedals are durable clipless pedals built for reliable off-road riding. They combine an SPD-standard mechanism with a wide 57mm platform for stable foot support and efficient power transfer. An aluminium body and double-sealed Chromoly+ axle add strength and help maintain smooth rotation. Adjustable cleat tension also lets you tune the release feel to suit your riding.Key Features and Benefits:Strong aluminium pedal body: The aluminium construction gives the pedal the strength needed for regular mountain bike use. It resists the knocks and impacts found on rough trails while keeping the pedal body rigid. This creates a solid platform for consistent pedalling and long-term use.Chromoly+ double-sealed axle: The Chromoly+ spindle is built to cope with repeated loads from hard pedalling and uneven terrain. Double sealing helps protect the internal parts from dirt, water and trail debris. This supports smooth rotation and helps extend the working life of the pedal.SPD-standard engagement system: The X-Track uses the widely used SPD cleat standard. This makes it compatible with a broad range of MTB shoes and SPD-style cleats. Riders can use a familiar clip-in system without needing a specialist shoe or cleat format.57mm platform width: The broad contact area gives the shoe more support around the engagement mechanism. This spreads pedalling pressure across a larger area and helps reduce unwanted foot movement. The result is a more stable connection between rider and bike when climbing, descending or riding rough ground.Adjustable cleat tension from 6 to 14: The engagement mechanism can be adjusted to change how firmly the cleat is held. A lighter setting makes clipping in and releasing easier, while a firmer setting gives a more secure feel. This lets you set the pedals around your experience, terrain and personal preference.6° float and 13° release angle: The cleat allows 6° of rotational movement while clipped in, giving the foot some freedom during the pedal stroke. A 13° release angle provides a defined movement for unclipping. Together, these figures balance natural foot movement with predictable release. The X-Track is designed to give mountain bikers a secure and consistent connection to the bike without adding unnecessary complexity. Its 53mm Q-Factor gives a conventional pedalling position, while the 16.8mm pedal and cleat stack keeps the foot close to the axle. Combined with adjustable engagement and a stable platform, this helps create a controlled pedal feel across varied terrain.Choose the LOOK X-Track MTB Pedals for a practical move into clipless mountain bike pedals. Their SPD compatibility, adjustable engagement and durable construction make them a dependable option for regular trail riding.Specifications:Weight: 450gSpindle material: Chromoly+Body material: AluminiumQ-Factor: 53mmPlatform width: 57mmTotal stack height (pedal and cleat): 16.8mmSPD Cleat tension: 6 to 14Float angle: 6 degreesRelease angle: 13 degrees
