This is a Road Bike route to Masca to discover the Teno Mountains. Masca is a small mountain village approximately 650 metres above sea level in the northwest of Tenerife at the foot of the Teno Mountains. The natural beauty of Masca and the scenery on the way is breathtaking. Masca is considered to be one of the most picturesque parts of Tenerife. You can either to the loop clockwise by climbing towards Erjos first, then into Santiago del Teide, descend into Masca and climb towards Las Portelas before you enjoy a 20 kms downhill to Buenavista del Norte and then Garachico, or with a slightly less elevation the anticlockwise loop.
