The climb starts as soon as you leave Las Palas village on the RM-E34 and for the first 2.28kms, up to the roundabout, is just a steady climb with 2% average gradient. The road for this section is narrow but not very busy. On the roundabout turn right towards Mazarron for the remaining 1.4 km with an average of 6% gradient. The second part of this climb is definitely the steeper part and soon after the first few metres you will notice the difference. When you reach the top get ready for a fast descend into Mazarron. At the end of your descend there is a petrol station for a quick refreshment stop.
