Whether you´re preparing for a race, tackling a virtual course on Zwift, or simply looking to get more out of your weekend rides, the DuoBand sensor is your reliable partner for performance measurement. The standout benefit of the TOPEAK DuoBand is its universal connectivity. Equipped with advanced dual-band technology, it transmits data wirelessly using both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart (BLE 4.0) protocols. This dual capability ensures maximum compatibility with a vast ecosystem of devices. Effortlessly connect it to your GPS bike computer from brands like Garmin or Wahoo, pair it with your smartphone (iOS/Android) running popular fitness apps like Strava, TrainerRoad, or the Topeak PanoBike+ app, or link it to your indoor smart trainer for a fully immersive training experience. This flexibility means you are not locked into a single platform, giving you the freedom to use the hardware and software you prefer.Designed for precision and reliability, this device functions as two crucial Sensors in one. The speed sensor accurately tracks your velocity and distance by measuring wheel rotations, while the integrated Cadence meters monitor your pedal revolutions per minute (RPM). Understanding your cadence is fundamental to improving pedaling technique, maintaining optimal power output, and preventing fatigue on long rides. The DuoBand provides this data consistently, allowing you to maintain a smooth, efficient pedal stroke across all terrains.Built to withstand the rigors of cycling, the DuoBand sensor features a durable, lightweight, and weatherproof construction with an IPX7 waterproof rating. This ensures flawless performance in all conditions, from dusty summer roads to rainy training sessions. Installation is straightforward, with the sensor mounting securely to your bike´s chainstay and magnets attaching to a crank arm and wheel spoke. Its low-profile design minimizes aerodynamic drag and maintains the clean aesthetic of your bicycle. With an exceptionally long battery life powered by a common CR2032 coin cell, you can ride for hundreds of hours without worrying about data dropouts.Main Features:* Advanced Dual-Band Technology: Features both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for universal device compatibility.* Integrated 2-in-1 Design: Measures both cycling speed and pedaling cadence from a single, compact unit.* Wireless Data Transmission: Sends real-time, reliable data directly to your chosen head unit or smartphone app.* All-Weather Performance: Boasts an IPX7 waterproof rating, ensuring functionality in rain, mud, and dust.* Extended Battery Life: Engineered for low energy consumption for long-lasting, uninterrupted performance.* Universal Fit: Designed to mount easily and securely on the chainstay of most road, mountain, and hybrid bikes.* Lightweight and Low-Profile: Aerodynamically efficient and unobtrusive design that complements your bike.Technical Specifications:* Technology: Bluetooth® Smart (BLE 4.0) & ANT+ Connectivity* Battery: CR2032x1 * Battery Life (Approx.): Up to 1800 hours* Mount: Non-driveside Chainstay* Waterproof Rating: IPX7* Transmission Range: Up to 10 meters (33 ft)* Dimensions: 6.5x2.9x1.9 cm / 2.6 x 1.1 x 0.7* Weight: 21 g / 0.74 oz. tradeinn Bikeinn
