ZIPP 303 Firecrest CL Disc Tubular Rear Wheel: The Benchmark for All-Round PerformanceUnleash your full potential on any road with the ZIPP 303 Firecrest CL Disc Tubular rear wheel, a masterclass in engineering designed for cyclists who demand uncompromising performance and versatility. This wheel is the definitive choice for conquering varied terrain, from grueling climbs and technical descents to fast-paced sprints on the flats. It represents the pinnacle of speed, stability, and control, making it an essential upgrade for competitive road racing, triathlon, and time trial events. The heart of the 303 Firecrest´s legendary performance lies in its advanced aerodynamic design. Featuring ZIPP´s signature Firecrest rim shape, this wheel is meticulously engineered to reduce aerodynamic drag while simultaneously improving crosswind stability. This means you can hold your line with unshakeable confidence, even in gusty conditions, and expend less energy to maintain higher speeds. The 40mm rim profile strikes the perfect balance, offering a significant aero advantage without becoming a liability on steep gradients, ensuring you remain fast and efficient everywhere. The ABLC dimpled surface further enhances this aerodynamic efficiency by managing airflow across the rim, delivering a tangible reduction in drag that you can feel with every pedal stroke. At the core of this wheelset is the robust and responsive ZR1 Disc Brake hub. Engineered in Germany, this hub provides lightning-fast engagement for explosive accelerations out of corners and immediate power transfer when you put the power down. Its durable construction and high-quality stainless steel bearings ensure long-lasting, smooth performance, ride after ride. Paired with the superior stopping power and modulation of disc brakes, you gain an unparalleled level of control. The CenterLock rotor mounting system offers a clean, secure, and easy-to-use interface for confident, all-weather braking performance that inspires you to push your limits on every descent. As a tubular wheel, the 303 Firecrest offers the classic, race-proven ride quality preferred by professional cyclists. The tubular system provides a supple and responsive road feel, absorbing vibrations for enhanced comfort on long rides while offering exceptional cornering grip. This design is built for the purist who seeks the ultimate connection between rider, bike, and road. Built for the modern era of cycling, this wheel is ready to elevate your performance to the next level.Key Attributes:* Wheel Size: 28´´- 700* Material: Carbon* Brake System: Disc Brake* Rim Profile: High profile > 40 mm* Position: Rear* Discipline: Road Cycling* Tyre Type: TubularSpecifications:* Item type: Wheel* Item name: 303* Size: 700c* Front/Rear: Rear* Use: Road / Triathlon / TT* Brake type: Disc brake* Axle and OLD: 12x142 mm thru axle* Body: XDR* Tire type: Tubular* Rim: Carbon tubular* Rim profile: 40 mm* Mounting type rotor: CenterLock* Hub: ZR1 Disc Brake* Corresponding wheel: 00 1918 575 000* Other: Surface: ABLC Dimples, Aluminum Sapim Secure-Loc nipples, CX-Ray 2 Cross spokes, Stainless steel bearings, max pressure: 125 psi
