This rear wheel is the culmination of MAVIC´s legendary expertise, offering a tangible advantage on demanding climbs, fast-paced singletrack, and technical descents. It´s the ultimate upgrade for riders looking to shed crucial grams and gain podium-placing speed.Unleash Your Speed and AgilityThe core benefit of the Crossmax SLS lies in its exceptionally low weight and reduced inertia. Thanks to MAVIC´s signature ISM 4D rim machining process, excess material is strategically removed from the low profile (< 30 mm) rim without compromising its strength. This results in lightning-fast acceleration out of corners and a significantly easier experience on steep gradients, allowing you to conserve energy and attack the trail with newfound vigor. The 29´´ diameter ensures maximum momentum and superior rollover capability, smoothing out rough terrain and maintaining speed effortlessly.Superior Handling and Unmatched ReliabilityEngineered for the rigors of modern cross-country racing, this wheel delivers razor-sharp handling and complete control. The Fore drilling technology creates a stronger, stiffer rim by threading the spoke nipples directly into the rim, eliminating the need to drill the upper rim bridge. This not only enhances structural integrity but also creates a perfectly sealed rim bed for the simplest and most reliable tubeless setup (UST). Paired with the state-of-the-art Infinity hub platform, you get optimized spoke tension and flawless power transfer. The heart of the hub is the Instant Drive 360 freewheel system, which provides near-instant engagement for immediate power delivery when you stomp on the pedals.Main Features:* Lightweight and Dynamic Performance: Features ISM 4D rim technology to drastically reduce weight and rotational inertia for explosive acceleration and efficient climbing.* Enhanced Stiffness and Durability: Built with a robust Maxtal aluminum alloy and Fore drilling technology for a stronger, more rigid wheel structure that translates to precise steering and long-lasting performance.* Effortless Tubeless System: MAVIC´s UST Tubeless technology with a fully sealed rim bed (no tape required) ensures easy tire mounting, improved traction, lower rolling resistance, and a reduced risk of punctures.* Instant Power Transfer: Equipped with the Infinity hub and Instant Drive 360 freewheel for rapid engagement, ensuring every watt of your power is transferred directly to the trail.* Modern Compatibility: Designed for Disc Brake systems with a Center Lock (CL) rotor mount for secure, reliable braking power.* Optimized for XC: A purpose-built 29´´ rear wheel designed to meet the demands of competitive MTB Cycling and fast trail riding, compatible with modern tubeless-ready Clincher tires. This rear wheel is more than just a component, it´s a performance advantage engineered to help you push your limits and redefine what´s possible on your mountain bike.Specifications:- €:415.- £:385.- chf:480.- weight:860g. tradeinn Bikeinn
