GOODYEAR Newton MTR DH Tubeless 29´´ x 2.40 MTB TyreDominate the descent with the GOODYEAR Newton MTR DH Tubeless 29´´ x 2.40, a rear-specific MTB tyre engineered for maximum speed and uncompromising control on the most demanding downhill and enduro tracks. Developed in the heat of UCI World Cup competition, this tyre is your ultimate weapon for gravity-fueled riding, providing the confidence to push your limits and shave seconds off your run. Its design philosophy focuses on delivering rapid straight-line velocity without sacrificing the critical braking traction and cornering grip needed when the trail gets steep and technical.Key Benefits:Experience a new level of performance with a tyre built for the podium. The Newton MTR´s primary benefit is its ability to generate and maintain momentum, thanks to a fast-rolling center tread that reduces rolling resistance on high-speed sections. When it´s time to slow down or dive into a berm, the aggressive, tall side knobs dig deep, providing predictable and powerful braking performance and tenacious cornering bite. This combination allows you to carry more speed through sections and brake later with absolute confidence. Furthermore, its robust construction offers unparalleled durability and puncture protection, minimizing the risk of race-ending flats and allowing you to focus purely on your line choice. The Tubeless Complete system ensures a secure, hassle-free setup with superior air retention and sidewall support at lower pressures.Main Features:The performance of the Newton MTR stems from its purpose-built features. The tread pattern is specifically optimized for rear-wheel application in MTB Cycling, featuring ramped and tightly spaced center knobs for fast rolling efficiency. In contrast, the tall, blocky shoulder knobs are widely spaced to shed mud and provide a strong, supportive edge for aggressive cornering. This tyre is built around a formidable Downhill casing, featuring a rugged 2x60TPI construction. This dual-ply design provides exceptional support and resilience against impacts, cuts, and pinch flats, making it the ideal choice for the harshest terrain. The tyre incorporates Goodyear´s advanced Dynamic:Grip3 compound, a triple-density rubber layout that perfectly balances rolling speed, braking traction, and cornering grip. A Folding bead ensures a secure fit to the rim while reducing overall weight compared to a wire bead alternative. As a fully Tubeless tyre, it leverages Goodyear´s Tubeless Complete™ design, which features a more robust casing material for improved air retention and added sidewall protection.Technical Specifications:* Product: Tyre 29x2.4 NEWTON MTR Tubeless Complete Downhill Rear Black* Wheel Size: 29´´* Tyre Width: 2.40* ETRTO: 61 - 622* Position: Rear Specific* Bead: Folding* Type: Tubeless Complete* Casing: 2x60 TPI* Protection: DH:Wall (Dual-Ply Casing)* Weight (approx.): 1385g. tradeinn Bikeinn
