GIANT Crosscut 2 Tubeless 700C x 40 Rigid Gravel TyreUnleash your adventurous spirit and conquer any path with the GIANT Crosscut 2 Tubeless 700C x 40 Rigid Gravel Tyre. Engineered for the modern rider who demands versatility and reliability, this tyre is your perfect partner for exploring beyond the tarmac. Whether you´re commuting on city streets, grinding up gravel fire roads, or embarking on a long-distance bikepacking journey, the Crosscut 2 provides the performance and confidence you need to keep rolling.Designed as a true all-rounder, the Crosscut Gravel 2 is a fast rolling, durable 60TPI tyre with a centre line wear indicator and a silica based compound. It strikes an ideal balance for mixed-terrain use, designated for 40% road and 60% gravel cycling. The advanced silica-based compound ensures low rolling resistance and impressive speed on paved sections, while the carefully designed tread pattern provides predictable grip when the surface turns loose. One of the standout benefits of this tyre is its tubeless ready design. This technology allows the tyre to be run at lower air pressure without the risk of pinch flats, dramatically improving grip on challenging surfaces and increasing overall comfort by absorbing vibrations and chatter from rough terrain. This makes it an exceptional choice for gravel cycling, where conditions can change in an instant.Durability is at the core of the Crosscut 2. The robust and durable 60tpi casing is built to withstand the rigours of off-road riding. This is further enhanced by GIANT´s proprietary Defect X puncture protection, a crucial layer that provides excellent defence against thorns, sharp rocks, and other debris that can end a ride prematurely. The rigid wire bead ensures a secure and reliable fit to the rim. A clever and practical centre line wear indicator is integrated into the tread, giving you a clear visual cue when it´s time to replace your tyre, eliminating guesswork and ensuring you always ride with optimal performance and safety. This specific model is a 700c tyre with a 40mm width (ETRTO 40-622), making it a versatile and popular size for 28'' wheel gravel and all-road bikes. It is a rigid, tubeless-compatible tyre ready to transform your ride.Features:- Casing: Durable 60tpi- Bead: Wire (Rigid)- Compound: Silica based- Feature: Centre line wear indicator- Puncture protection: Defect XTechnical Specifications:- Weight: 573g- Size: 700c x 40mm / 28´´ x 1.50- ETRTO: 40-622- Use: 40% Road / 60% Gravel
