MAXXIS Rekon Race 120TPI MaxxSpeed/EXO Tubeless 27.5´´ x 2.25 MTB TyreUnleash your full potential on race day with the MAXXIS Rekon Race 27.5´´ x 2.25 MTB Tyre, the ultimate choice for cross-country riders and racers who demand blistering speed and absolute precision. Engineered to win, this tyre is a semi-slick masterpiece born from the legacy of the legendary Ikon, designed specifically to dominate dry, fast-paced circuits and short track courses. If gaining every possible advantage on hardpack or loose-over-hard terrain is your goal, the Rekon Race is your competitive edge. The core philosophy of this tyre is to minimize rolling resistance without sacrificing cornering confidence. As described by the experts at Maxxis: The Maxxis Rekon Race is a semi-slick XC race tire that features the lowest profile tread in our XC line. It is a great choice for dry XC trails and short track racing. The tread pattern features small, ramped center knobs that allow you to fly across the flats and carry momentum up climbs, while more pronounced side knobs dig in when you lean into corners, providing the grip and predictability you need to stay on your line and ahead of the competition. It´s the perfect tyre for your MTB Cycling adventures when speed is paramount. This specific model is built on a high-performance platform, featuring a supple 120 TPI casing that conforms beautifully to the trail surface. This enhances traction, reduces vibration, and lowers the overall weight for quicker acceleration. It incorporates the advanced MaxxSpeed compound, Maxxis´s premier technology for reducing rolling resistance and optimizing wear life, ensuring that every watt of your power is transferred directly into forward motion. For added peace of mind on technically demanding courses, the EXO Sidewall Protection provides a significant boost in cut and abrasion resistance without a hefty weight penalty.Embrace the superior performance of a Tubeless setup. The Rekon Race is Tubeless Ready (TR), allowing you to run lower air pressures for a massive increase in traction, improved ride comfort, and a significant reduction in the risk of flats. The Folding bead not only contributes to the tyre´s low weight but also makes it easy to install and carry as a spare. This tyre is optimized as a rear-wheel option, where its fast-rolling characteristics can be fully exploited, often paired with a more aggressive front tyre for a perfectly balanced setup.Technical Specifications:* Size: 27.5´´ x 2.25 (also known as 650B)* ETRTO: 57 - 584* TPI (Threads Per Inch): 120* Bead: Folding* Technology: MaxxSpeed / EXO Protection / Tubeless Ready (TR)* Attributes: 2.2, 27.5´´- 650B, 57 - 584, Folding, MTB Cycling, Tubeless* Category: XC Race, XC* Recommended Use: Dry XC trails, short track racing* Recommended Installation: Rear Wheel. tradeinn Bikeinn
