Designed specifically as a rear tyre for hardpack and mixed-terrain race circuits, the Scorpion™ Race XC RH delivers an uncompromising combination of blistering speed, exceptional grip, and race-day reliability, all wrapped in a stunning classic Retrò design. This high-performance tyre is built to give you the competitive edge when every second counts. Its tread pattern is meticulously optimized for maximum efficiency, featuring a low-profile, densely packed central section that dramatically reduces rolling resistance on fast, straight sections of the trail. This allows you to maintain momentum and conserve precious energy. When you dive into a corner, the more aggressive and pronounced side knobs dig in, providing confident, predictable traction and allowing you to carry more speed through turns. The result is a tyre that feels incredibly fast in a straight line and supremely stable when leaned over.Key Benefits for the Dedicated Racer:* Unmatched Rolling Efficiency: The rear-specific tread design is engineered for pure speed on hard and compact surfaces, minimizing drag to help you achieve your personal best.* Confident Cornering Grip: Taller, more robust side knobs provide exceptional support and traction during high-speed cornering and on more technical sections of the course.* Enhanced Puncture Protection: The advanced ProWALL sidewall reinforcement technology adds significant protection against cuts and punctures without compromising the tyre´s supple feel or adding unnecessary weight.* Superior Handling and Stability: The ProWALL structure enhances stability, especially when running the low pressures enabled by a tubeless setup, giving you a more controlled and responsive ride.* Classic Aesthetics: The Retrò tan sidewall design offers a timeless, professional look that makes any high-end mountain bike stand out from the pack. The heart of this tyre´s performance lies in its advanced construction. The supple 120 TPI casing conforms beautifully to the terrain, maximizing the contact patch for improved traction and a smoother ride over roots and rocks. This is perfectly complemented by the Race XC Compound, a single-compound formulation developed to provide the ultimate balance of low rolling resistance and high mechanical grip. This tyre is fully Tubeless Ready, allowing you to run lower pressures for enhanced grip and virtually eliminate the risk of pinch flats. The folding bead construction ensures a secure fit on the rim while keeping the overall weight impressively low, a critical factor for any competitive MTB cycling setup.Choose the PIRELLI Scorpion™ Race XC RH for your next race and experience the pinnacle of cross-country performance. It's the ultimate choice for riders who demand speed, control, and reliability without compromise.Technical Specifications:* Use: MTB Cycling, Cross-Country (XC) Race* Wheel Size: 29´´* Tyre Width: 2.4* ETRTO: 61 - 622* Type: Folding* Compatibility: Tubeless Ready* Casing: 120 TPI* Sidewall Technology: ProWALL* Recommended Use: Rear Tyre. tradeinn Bikeinn
