Met Drone Wide Body Ii Time Trial Helmet. Conquer the clock with the MET Drone Wide Body II time trial helmet. Proven in World Tour Time Trials and Ironman Championships, this helmet is engineered for pure speed. Its Wide Body Design smooths airflow around shoulders, reducing drag, while the Linear Tail Design maintains aerodynamics in lower positions. The MET Safe-T Advanced Fit System ensures a secure, 360° custom fit. Internal air channeling and strategically placed vents keep you cool, and the Mag-Clip Shield offers clear vision. Dominate your next race. MET Drone Wide Body II Time Trial HelmetThe Drone Wide Body II is the second generation of the helmet that has triumphed in numerous World Tour Time Trials and Iron man World Championships. Building on a legacy of victory, this helmet represents the pinnacle of aerodynamic engineering, meticulously developed for athletes seeking to conquer the clock. It is the ultimate tool for dedicated cyclists and triathletes who understand that victory is measured in fractions of a second. Every curve, vent, and surface has been refined through extensive research and wind-tunnel testing to provide an uncompromising performance advantage when it matters most.Harness the power of superior aerodynamics with a design that has been perfected for pure speed. The signature Wide Body Design is a key element, expanding the helmet´s volume to guide airflow smoothly around the rider´s shoulders, a critical area for creating turbulence. This drastically reduces overall drag and saves precious watts. The innovative Linear Tail Design further enhances this efficiency, allowing the helmet to maintain its aerodynamic properties even when the rider´s head is not in a perfectly fixed, static position. This provides the freedom to adopt a lower, more aggressive stance without penalty, ensuring you stay faster for longer. An unwavering fit is crucial for maintaining focus and power. The MET Safe-T Advanced Fit System delivers a fully customizable and secure fit. Its 360° head belt offers a wraparound adjustment that eliminates pressure points and provides a perfectly uniform hold. Coupled with vertical adjustment, you can dial in the helmet´s position for optimal integration with your eyewear and riding posture. The lightweight Air Lite straps and their adjustable dividers are not only supremely comfortable but are also designed to lie flat against the skin, further enhancing aerodynamics and eliminating distracting strap flutter at high speeds.Even in the most intense races against time, comfort and thermal regulation are key to peak performance. The Drone Wide Body II features a sophisticated internal air channeling system supplied by strategically positioned Low Drag inlets and exhaust ports. This system is engineered to pull air into the helmet, guide it over the head to draw away heat and moisture, and then expel it efficiently out the back. This active ventilation ensures you remain cool, comfortable, and focused on delivering your maximum effort from the start line to the finish. The seamless integration of the MET Mag-Clip Shield completes the aerodynamic package, offering a clear field of vision while maintaining optimal airflow over the face.Attributes: Adult, No Technology, Time trialFeatures:- In-mould polycarbonate shell with EPS liner- Wide Body Design: larger outer shell for both sizes to maximize aerodynamics- Linear Tail Design: allows for a lower head position while riding- MET Safe-T Advanced Fit System- 360° head belt with vertical adjustment for a customized fit- Air Lite straps with adjustable dividers for enhanced aerodynamics and comfort- Low Drag inlets strategically positioned to reduce air turbulence- 4 vents with an internal air channeling system to improve ventilation and comfort- MET Mag-Clip Shield- Clear- Hand-washable comfort pads- Helmet soft bag included. tradeinn Bikeinn
