MAVIC C-2542 Carbon Disc Tubeless RimAttributes: Gravel cycling, RimsUnleash your full potential on any terrain with the MAVIC C-2542 Carbon Disc Tubeless Rim, a masterpiece of engineering designed for the modern gravel and all-road cyclist. This rim is the ultimate foundation for building a wheelset that offers an unparalleled blend of low weight, aerodynamic efficiency, and rugged durability. Whether you´re chasing podiums on challenging gravel courses or embarking on epic multi-day adventures, the C-2542 provides the performance and confidence you need to push your limits.Features:Adaptive Layup: Strong Where It Matters, Light Everywhere ElseExperience a revolution in wheel performance with Mavic´s innovative Adaptive Layup technology. This intelligent carbon construction method meticulously places material only where it´s needed for maximum strength and impact resistance, particularly around the spoke holes, while shedding unnecessary grams from less-stressed areas. Carbon is inherently lighter than alloy, but this advanced technique takes weight savings to the next level. By using the right amount of fibers precisely where required, the rim´s weight is dramatically reduced with no compromise on reliability. This results in a significant weight saving of up to 70g per rim, translating into a livelier, more responsive ride feel. Conquer steep climbs with greater ease and enjoy a wheel that accelerates instantly, transforming your gravel cycling experience.Sized Up for Speed on Gravel TracksEngineered specifically for the demands of modern gravel cycling, the C-2542 rim is perfectly dimensioned for speed and control. Its generous 25mm internal width, combined with a modern hookless profile, is designed to perfectly support wider tyres. This creates a broader contact patch for the tyre, delivering unparalleled grip on loose corners, enhanced traction on technical climbs, and a significant boost in comfort over rough, chattering surfaces. The wider stance gives you more volume and stability. Paired with an aerodynamically optimized 42mm rim depth, you´ll slice through the wind with remarkable efficiency, helping you maintain higher speeds on long, open stretches and fast descents. It's the perfect balance of aero gains and confident handling in crosswinds, making it a versatile choice for varied terrain. As a UST Tubeless Ready rim, the C-2542 provides the ultimate in tyre integration and reliability. Enjoy the benefits of running lower pressures for maximum comfort and grip, all while significantly reducing the risk of pinch flats and lowering overall rolling resistance for a faster, smoother ride.Specifications:- Weight: 449 g- Material: 100% carbon fiber- Braking: Disc- Spoke Bed Diameter (ERD): 559 mm- Profile: Symmetrical and hookless- Spoke Bed Diameter including washers: 562 mm- Drilling: Traditional without eyelet- Height: 42 mm- Internal width: 25 mm- ETRTO size: 622x25TSS- Tire: UST Tubeless Ready - Use with Mavic Tubeless Tape- Tubeless tape width: 28mm (not delivered with the rim)- Recommended tyre width: 30 to 64 mm. tradeinn Bikeinn
