MAVIC Deemax DH 23 27.5´´ Rear RimEngineered for the most demanding downhill tracks and gravity-fueled adventures, the MAVIC Deemax DH 23 27.5´´ rear rim is the benchmark for strength, reliability, and race-proven performance. Born from decades of collaboration with the world´s fastest DH racers, this rim is built to withstand the harshest impacts and provide the confidence you need to push your limits on any descent. It is the ultimate upgrade for riders seeking uncompromising durability and a tangible performance advantage when the trail points downwards.Key BenefitsUnrivaled Strength and Impact ResistanceConfidently charge through rock gardens and absorb the biggest hits. This rim features an innovative, wider sidewall profile specifically designed to reduce the risk of tyre cuts and pinch flats. This robust construction allows you to run lower tyre pressures for enhanced grip and control without the constant worry of damage. Combined with a special surface treatment, the rim boasts superior resilience against scratches, rock strikes, and the general abuse of aggressive riding, ensuring it looks and performs its best season after season.Optimized and Simplified Tubeless PerformanceExperience the most user-friendly and reliable tubeless setup on the market. The unique Fore drilling technology creates a fully sealed upper rim bridge by threading the spoke nipples directly into the rim, completely eliminating the need for tubeless tape. This not only saves weight and hassle but also creates a significantly stronger and more rigid rim structure. The result is a perfect air-tight seal, easier tyre mounting, and a more robust wheel build that´s ready for the toughest conditions.Agile and Responsive HandlingDespite its formidable strength, the Deemax DH rim is engineered to be surprisingly light and responsive. Through a patented inter-spoke milling process (ISM 4D), excess material is strategically removed from low-stress areas of the rim. This crucial weight reduction lowers inertia, leading to snappier acceleration, more nimble handling in tight corners, and less fatigue on long, punishing runs, all without sacrificing a single ounce of its legendary durability.Main Features* Pinch Flat Protection (PFP) sidewall design to minimize tyre damage* Black Shield surface treatment for exceptional scratch and impact resistance* Fore tapeless tubeless technology for a stronger, sealed rim bed* ISM 4D advanced weight reduction machining* SUP (Soudé Usiné Process) welded and milled rim joint for superior strength* Asymmetrical rim profile for balanced spoke tension and a stronger wheelTechnical Specifications* Attributes: MTB Cycling, Rims* Discipline: Downhill, Enduro, Gravity* Wheel Size: 27.5 / 650b* ETRTO Size: 584x28ss* Internal Width: 28 mm* Drilling: Fore tapeless, 28 holes* Brake Type: Disc Brake Only* Tubeless System: UST Tubeless Ready* Valve Hole Diameter: 6.5 mm (Presta)* Recommended Spoke Nipple Length: 14 mm (Mavic specific)* Recommended Tyre Widths: 60mm to 76mm (2.35 to 3.0)* Joint: SUP Welding Technology* Weight: Approx. 580 g. tradeinn Bikeinn
