MAXXIS Aspen ST Mountain 120 TPI Maxxspeed/Exo Tubeless 29´´ x 2.25 MTB TyreUnleash Podium-Winning Speed with the MAXXIS Aspen ST Race TyreEngineered for the top step of the podium, the MAXXIS Aspen ST is a pure-bred cross-country race tyre designed for one thing: maximum velocity on dry, fast-paced courses. Developed with feedback from elite athletes, this tyre takes the legendary performance of the original Aspen and elevates it for short track (ST) and marathon racing where every fraction of a second counts. If your goal is to minimize rolling resistance and maximize efficiency without compromise, the Aspen ST is your ultimate competitive advantage. The heart of the Aspen ST´s incredible speed lies in its radically low-profile center tread. This semi-slick design drastically reduces friction on hardpack, grass, and smooth dirt, allowing you to maintain momentum and conserve vital energy. Paired with the all-new, single-compound MaxxSpeed rubber, this tyre offers the lowest rolling resistance in the MAXXIS MTB lineup, ensuring your power is transferred directly into forward motion.Key Benefits to Dominate the Racetrack:* Unrivaled Acceleration and Speed: Experience a significant reduction in rolling resistance thanks to the ultra-fast MaxxSpeed compound and the minimal, low-profile center tread. It's built to fly on straightaways and hard-packed climbs.* Confident and Aggressive Cornering: Don´t sacrifice control for speed. While the center is built for straight-line velocity, the Aspen´s signature aggressive side knobs, borrowed from its proven predecessor, dig in when you lean the bike over, providing predictable and tenacious grip through corners.* Supple and Responsive Ride Feel: The high-volume 120 TPI casing provides an incredibly supple and responsive ride, conforming to the trail´s imperfections for enhanced traction and reduced rider fatigue. This lightweight construction also contributes to the tyre´s snappy acceleration.* Reliable Sidewall Protection: Race day can be unpredictable. That´s why the Aspen ST features EXO Protection, a lightweight, flexible, and highly cut- and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls. This adds a crucial layer of durability against sharp rocks and trail debris without adding significant weight.* Optimized Tubeless Performance: Embrace the advantages of a modern setup. Its Tubeless Ready (TR) design allows for easy setup with sealant, enabling you to run lower tyre pressures for superior traction and virtually eliminating pinch flats.Main Features:* Ultra-Low Profile Short Track (ST) Tread Design* Flagship MaxxSpeed Single Compound Technology* EXO Sidewall Protection* High-Volume 120 TPI Casing for a Supple Ride* Lightweight Folding Bead* Tubeless Ready (TR) TechnologyWhether you´re lining up at the start gate or chasing a personal best on your local loop, the MAXXIS Aspen ST is the definitive choice for riders who refuse to compromise on speed.
