This ensures that while cold air is locked out, moisture from perspiration can escape, keeping your feet dry and comfortable from the inside.To achieve unparalleled thermal performance, we then added a second layer of fleece, creating an insulating sandwich that is unmatched in terms of its overall bulk and heat retention. The two layers were so effective and thick that they presented a new engineering challenge. To solve this, we had to create a unique single-layer wheel arch construction in the forefoot area. This innovative design prevents the fabric from rubbing against the crank arm, ensuring a smooth, interference-free pedal stroke without sacrificing protection where it´s needed most.The design is meticulously crafted for complete winter security. We designed the shoe covers with a high cuff that extends further up the ankle for increased warmth and to provide adequate splash protection from wet, slushy roads.
