As the first true E-MTB specialist from Schwalbe, the Eddy Current Rear is a revolution in tyre design, delivering uncompromising performance for All-Mountain, Enduro, and gravity-fueled adventures. It´s built to translate the immense power and torque of your motor into relentless forward propulsion and braking power. The Eddy Current Rear features a purpose-built, aggressive tread pattern inspired by motocross. Its massive, stable centre and shoulder blocks are significantly larger than those on traditional MTB tyres. This robust design provides maximum traction for acceleration on steep, technical climbs and offers exceptional, confidence-inspiring braking performance when you need to shed speed fast. The tyre bites hard into the terrain, ensuring the power from your E-bike is transferred directly to the trail without spin-out, while its sturdy construction resists the increased wear associated with high-torque motors.Engineered for the harshest conditions, this tyre is built with Schwalbe´s formidable Super Gravity casing. This multi-layer construction provides bombproof puncture protection and outstanding sidewall stability, allowing you to run lower tyre pressures for enhanced grip and control without fear of pinch flats or tyre roll. This stability is critical for managing the higher weight of E-bikes through aggressive corners and rough rock gardens. The ADDIX Soft compound offers a perfect balance of tenacious grip, superb damping, and reasonable rolling resistance, keeping you glued to the trail on wet roots, loose rock, and everything in between. The Eddy Current is fully Tubeless Easy (TLE), allowing for a simple, reliable tubeless setup that unlocks the full potential of the tyre. Ride with lower pressures for a larger contact patch, experience superior comfort, and benefit from the self-sealing properties of tyre sealant for minor punctures. Furthermore, its E-50 certification guarantees it meets the highest European standards for use on fast S-Pedelecs up to 50 km/h, a testament to its exceptional durability and safety.Main Features:* Rear-Specific Tread Design: Massive, stable blocks for maximum propulsion and braking traction, specifically designed for the demands of a rear E-bike tyre.* Super Gravity Casing: Provides exceptional puncture protection and sidewall stability, ideal for aggressive riding on heavy E-MTBs.* ADDIX Soft Compound: Delivers an outstanding balance of grip, damping, and durability for all-condition performance.* Tubeless Easy (TLE): Simplifies tubeless setup for enhanced grip, lower rolling resistance, and improved puncture protection.* E-50 Ready: Certified for use on S-Pedelecs, ensuring superior safety and durability under high loads and speeds.* Folding Bead: Reduces weight and makes installation easier.Technical Specifications:* Brand: Schwalbe* Model: Eddy Current Rear Gravity Pro Soft* Discipline: MTB Cycling, E-bikes (All-Mountain, Enduro, Gravity)* Wheel Size: 29´´* Tyre Width: 2.50´´* ETRTO: 63 - 622* Type: Folding* Tubeless System: Tubeless Easy (TLE)* Casing: Super Gravity* Compound: ADDIX Soft* E-Bike Rating: E-50* Pressure: 1.60 - 3.50 Bar (23 - 50 psi)* Weight: Approx. 1320 g* EPI: 67. tradeinn Bikeinn
