DoubleDown tires are marginally lighter than their Downhill counterparts, but it's really the difference in trail feel that sets the two apart. The butyl insert helps prevent pinch flats, protects the rim from impacts, and provides additional sidewall stability.Tubeless Ready:- Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tires offer better traction, lower rolling resistance, and fewer flats by eliminating the inner tube. Run lower pressures for improved grip and control. Look for the TR marking on the sidewall.- Installation Note: Must be used with tubeless-compatible rims and liquid sealant to maintain air pressure and seal small punctures.
