Simple, reliable and effective, the Eggbeater 1 is the latest incarnation of this legendary pedal.Unique design sheds mud with ease, making entry and release easierPremium brass cleats includedcleats can be reversed to alter release angle from 15 to 20 degreesStamped steel construction is highly durable2 Year warrantyThe Eggbeater 1 is really diverse and is used by a wide range of riders.  We have seen them out on the trail, at cyclocross races and even on commuter bikes.  As with the rest of the Crank Brothers range the pedals are fully serviceable with a level 1 / 2 service kit (product code CRB-11729).  Servicing is simple and does not require any specialist tools, just a flat head screwdriver, socket wrench and 8mm allen key to hold the pedal by the axle. We recommend that the pedal is cleaned and greased every 30 hours of riding and the bearings are inspected for wear.
