The gravel bike is the Swiss knife of the bicycle industry: whether on- or off-road, it is the perfect companion for anyone who prefers a bit more comfort. Matching these characteristics, the 614 Ergowave active 2.1 is the gravel saddle from SQlab. This model combines the advantages of the well-known 611 Ergowave saddles (MTB) and 612 (Road): a waisted shape offers maximum legroom off-road, at the same time saddle has the bit thicker padding of the 611 Ergowave model to provide maximum cushioning and comfort on rough off-road trails. The SQlab active technology offers additional comfort, especially on the gravel bike, by mobilizing the intervertebral discs. Additionally, a premium quality Kevlar material protects the saddle in its exposed areas.More comfortMaximum legroomMore paddingBack-friendlyDip - The slight depression in the centre of the saddle reduces pressure on the sensitive structures of the perineal area.Low & Flat - The flat only slightly curved saddle nose provides a maximum contact surface and accordingly less pressure.Sporty rear - The raised rear provides additional support to the rear and ensures more efficient power transmission off-road.More freedom - The lowered nose, in combination with the dip, creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for both women and men.Save energy - The saddle, with its wave-like shape and raised tail, provides the perfect support to the rear and an optimal distribution of pressure to the deep structures of the body, which significantly improves the transmission of power to the pedal.Relief of the intervertebral discs - The active technology allows the saddle to follow the pedalling movement, which increases comfort, mobilizes the intervertebral discs and minimizes the pressure on the sit bones.Active Setup - The SQlab active technology has become not only lighter but also smoother and is additionally adjustable via elastomers in three degrees of hardness.Ergowave shape  - The wave-like shape and raised rear section provides perfect rearward support and an optimal pressure distribution which reaches deep into the bodily structures, resulting in improved power transmission. The lowered nose in combination with the dip provides an optimal pressure relief for the perineal area. Active-Technology - Especially on the gravel bike, the SQlab active technology offers additional comfort on long distances. The active technology allows the saddle to follow the pedalling movement, which increases comfort, mobilizes the intervertebral discs and minimizes the pressure on the sit bones. The SQlab active technology is adjustable via elastomers in three degrees of hardness.Specification:Area Of Use/Bicycle Type: GravelWeight(S) In g: Approx. 229 / 231 / 234 / 244 / 254Active Technology: Yes - SportMounting Height in mm: Approx. 50Size(S) In Cm (Effective Saddle Width): 12 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16Length In mm: Approx. 275Material Rails: S-Tube (Light Metal Alloy - Hollow)Material Base: Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyamide Compound (Pa12 + Gf)Material Padding: Superlight FoamMaterial Cover: MicrofibreHardness In SQ-Shore: 55Relief Of Perineal Area in %: 65Maximum Load in kg: 100Maximum Torque In Nm: 18E-Bike Ready: YesDin/Astm Categories: 4Gender: Unisex
