The addition of a Velcro strap secures the ankle in place while a single L6 BOA® dial makes micro fit adjustments easy even with bulky winter gloves. The nylon outsole of the newly-redesigned R5 offers comfort and moderate stiffness for efficient pedaling. Additionally the cleat position is set slightly further back compared to traditional settings to better optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression.
