Taped seams prevent water from seeping inside, while the 5000mm water column X membrane not only fends off rain but also blocks winds completely.  The two-way front zipper keeps you fully in control of airflow to the inside, making it easy to dump heat and introduce cooling airflow as and when needed. Zipping from the bottom also makes accessing jersey pockets easier, even on the go. The shaped neck provides a snug seal against the elements, while wrist cuffs give a comfortable fit, even if you're wearing gloves.
