The Hope Carbon Crankset is a lightweight and durable crankset built to balance stiffness, comfort, and strength through a unique carbon construction and tuned material lay-up. It uses carbon fibre to reduce weight while controlling ride feel, helping to isolate trail chatter without sacrificing power transfer.Key Features and Benefits:Unique carbon construction method with small aluminium inserts: Carbon fibre is shaped using a specialised process, with minimal aluminium used only where needed. This reduces overall weight while maintaining precise interfaces, resulting in a crankset that feels light under load but remains reliable over long-term use.Optimised carbon lay-up for tuned stiffness: The carbon layers are arranged to control flex in key areas. This delivers efficient power transfer while reducing harsh feedback, leading to consistent pedalling efficiency across varied terrain.T700 carbon fibres for strength-to-weight balance: High-strength T700 fibres provide structural integrity without excess material. This improves durability under high torque while keeping rotational mass low for responsive acceleration.1K outer carbon fabric for abrasion resistance: A dense outer weave protects the crank arms from scuffs and trail contact. This helps preserve the carbon structure and appearance over repeated rides.Foam core for impact absorption and vibration damping: The internal foam core absorbs small impacts and filters vibration from the trail. This reduces fatigue and maintains control during longer or rougher rides.Replaceable pedal thread inserts: Aluminium pedal inserts can be replaced if damaged. This extends the service life of the crank arms and protects the carbon structure from wear at a high-stress interface.Proven self-extraction axle and arm interface: Borrowed from Hope s Evo Cranks, this system allows secure fitting and easy removal. It simplifies maintenance while ensuring a tight and consistent connection.Multiple crank length options: Available in 155, 165, and 170mm lengths. This allows riders to choose a size that matches their pedalling style and bike setup, supporting efficient biomechanics. The overall focus is reliable power transfer with reduced vibration and controlled stiffness. By managing how carbon flexes and absorbs impacts, the crankset supports steady cadence and consistent output, even when terrain and load change.Choose the Hope Carbon Crankset to benefit from a refined carbon design that balances weight, strength, and ride comfort in a durable, serviceable package.
