The Squish 16 Kids Bike is an ultra-lightweight first pedal bike that helps young riders gain control, confidence, and safety from their very first proper rides. Built with a carefully engineered aluminium frame, child-specific parts, and award-winning design, it delivers easy handling, reliable braking, and long-term durability in a bike sized for growing riders.Key Features and Benefits:Triple-butted aluminium frame construction: The frame uses varying wall thicknesses to remove excess material without losing strength, which reduces overall bike weight and makes steering, starting, and stopping easier for children. This lighter structure helps young riders stay balanced and in control as their skills develop.Incredibly lightweight 6.3kg total bike weight: Low overall weight reduces the effort needed to pedal, steer, and manoeuvre, allowing children to ride for longer without fatigue. This supports smoother progress from short rides to independent cycling with greater confidence.Child-specific frame geometry and proportions: The frame shape, standover height, and reach are designed around smaller bodies, creating a stable riding position that feels natural and secure. This improves comfort and control, helping children focus on riding rather than managing the bike.Shortened 102mm cranks and optimised crank width: Shorter cranks match a child s leg length, allowing a smoother pedalling motion with less strain on knees and hips. This leads to more efficient pedalling and better balance at low speeds.Adjustable junior brake levers with alloy V-brakes: Brake levers are sized for small hands and can be adjusted for reach, making braking easier and more predictable. Combined with responsive V-brakes, this improves stopping control and overall safety.Award-winning design backed by a 10-year frame and fork warranty: Recognised for quality and function, the bike is built to last through years of use. The long warranty provides reassurance that the frame and fork are designed for durability and long-term reliability. This bike is designed to make independent riding easier to learn and safer to manage. The low weight, balanced geometry, and child-specific components work together to reduce physical effort while improving control. This helps young riders focus on steady pedalling, smooth steering, and confident braking as they progress on two wheels. The Squish 16 is a practical choice for parents who want a well-built first big bike that supports skill development and long-term use. Its lightweight design, thoughtful engineering, and proven quality make it a strong step forward for growing riders.Sizing: The 16" Squish bike is recommended for children aged 4+, with a minimum inside leg measurement of 47cm and a minimum height of 104cm (3'5").
