The Michelin Pilot Slope Tyre is a freestyle MTB tyre built for speed, control, and reliability on hard and rocky terrain, combining fast rolling performance with dependable grip and a lightweight, tubeless-ready construction.Key Features and Benefits:Aggressive knob profile for rocky terrain: The tread uses well-spaced, shaped knobs designed to bite into hard and uneven surfaces. This improves mechanical grip on rock and compact dirt, resulting in better control and reduced slip when loading the tyre under braking or direction changes.Optimised rubber compound: The compound is tuned to reduce rolling resistance while maintaining consistent contact with the ground. This allows the tyre to hold speed between bumps and obstacles, leading to smoother runs with less energy loss.Fast-rolling tread design: The central tread pattern minimises drag on hardpack and ramps smoothly onto the shoulder knobs. This supports quicker acceleration and sustained speed without sacrificing stability when transitioning into turns.55 TPI casing construction: The casing balances strength with flexibility, helping the tyre conform to surface irregularities. This improves ground contact and impact absorption, delivering predictable handling and reduced vibration.Folding bead with soft aramid fibres: The aramid bead lowers overall tyre weight while maintaining a secure fit on the rim. This results in easier installation and a lighter wheel setup that responds faster to rider input.Tubeless Ready design: The tyre is designed to seal effectively with tubeless systems. This allows lower running pressures for improved grip and comfort, while reducing the risk of pinch flats during hard use.Reliable grip and consistent speed matter most when riding technical lines at pace. The Pilot Slope focuses on maintaining momentum across rough ground while staying stable on hard surfaces, using its compound, tread layout, and casing to deliver controlled performance without unnecessary drag or weight.Choose the Michelin Pilot Slope Tyre for a fast, dependable setup that supports confident riding on rocky terrain and hardpack tracks, with a construction designed to perform ride after ride.
