The Ridgeback MX16" Kids Bike - 2026 is a lightweight, well-balanced children's bike built to support steady pedalling, safe handling, and confident riding from the first use. It uses Easy-Pedal cranks that match a child's leg length and sit closer to the centre for smoother pedalling. A lowered frame, smaller grips, and reach-adjustable brake levers all improve control and stability. A steering limiter reduces the risk of oversteering, helping children stay upright as they learn. Key Features and Benefits: Easy-Pedal crank design matched to child leg length: The shorter crank arms and centred pedal position align with a child's natural movement, reducing strain and uneven pedalling. This helps maintain a smooth cadence and better balance, leading to more consistent control and less fatigue during rides. Narrow diameter grips and handlebars sized for small hands: The reduced grip size allows a secure hold without overreaching, improving steering input and stability. This leads to more precise handling and better confidence when turning or correcting direction. Reach-adjustable brake levers positioned closer to the bars: The shorter reach allows children to apply braking force without stretching their fingers. This improves braking response and control, resulting in safer stopping and better speed management. Lowered frame geometry for easy access and clearance: The reduced standover height makes it easier to get on and off the bike and improves balance when stopping. This reduces hesitation and supports steady progress when starting and stopping. Steering limiter to control handlebar rotation: The built-in limit stop prevents the bars from turning too far during low-speed riding. This reduces the chance of sudden imbalance, helping children maintain control while learning to coordinate steering and pedalling. The MX16 focuses on helping children ride with control and consistency as they build basic cycling skills. The balanced geometry, correctly sized contact points, and controlled steering all work together to reduce common learning issues such as unstable pedalling or oversteering. This creates a more stable riding experience, allowing steady progress without unnecessary difficulty. Adjustable components also ensure the bike continues to fit as the rider grows. The Ridgeback MX16 is designed to make early riding more controlled and manageable, giving you a reliable option that supports skill development from the start. It is a practical choice for building confidence with every ride.Size Guide: Height - 100cm to 115cm / Age 3.5 to 6 Years
