The Scope Cycling R4 V2 45mm Road Wheelset is a race-ready carbon wheelset that delivers class-leading aerodynamics, low weight, and long-term durability for road riding. Derived from the Artech series, it uses proven rim profiles and advanced carbon construction to reduce drag and maintain speed with less effort. The 45mm depth offers a balanced aero gain without compromising control, while the tubeless-ready hooked rim supports modern 28mm tyres for efficient rolling and improved comfort. A sealed mechanical labyrinth hub system protects internal components from dirt, helping maintain smooth and reliable performance over time.Key Features and Benefits:AEA: Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics: This system uses advanced modelling to refine the rim shape and airflow behaviour, reducing aerodynamic drag across a range of yaw angles. This lowers the power needed to hold speed and helps maintain consistent pace over long distances.Derived Artech rim profile: The wheel uses proven rim shapes from the Artech series, adapted for the R-Series to deliver efficient airflow without added complexity. This results in stable handling in crosswinds and sustained aerodynamic performance in real-world conditions.23mm internal width hooked tubeless rim: The wider internal profile supports modern 28mm tyres, improving tyre shape and contact patch. This reduces rolling resistance while increasing grip and comfort, leading to more efficient and controlled riding.Local Reinforcement carbon lay-up: Carbon material is placed precisely where loads are highest, strengthening key stress areas without adding excess weight. This improves lateral stiffness for better power transfer and ensures long-term structural durability.Scope Diamond Ratchet SL hubs with SKF bearings: A high-engagement ratchet system delivers direct power transfer, while premium sealed bearings reduce friction and wear. This maintains smooth rotation and reliable engagement under repeated load.Mechanical labyrinth sealing system: A multi-stage sealing design blocks dirt and moisture from entering the hub internals. This reduces maintenance needs and keeps performance consistent in varied riding conditions. This wheelset is built to maintain speed with less wasted energy while staying stable and dependable under load. The aerodynamic rim profile reduces drag, while the stiff carbon structure ensures efficient power transfer through every pedal stroke. The wider rim supports modern tyres for improved rolling efficiency and control, helping you sustain pace across varied road surfaces without sacrificing reliability.Built for consistent performance and long service life, this wheelset combines race-focused efficiency with practical durability. It is ready to ride out of the box with tubeless tape and valves installed, making it a straightforward upgrade for riders who want dependable speed and low maintenance from every ride.Specification:AEA: Algorithm Enhanced AerodynamicsLocal Reinforcement carbon lay-upTopology OptimizedScope Tubeless Hooked SystemHubs: Scope R-Series Diamond Ratchet SLSpokes: Sapim CX-Ray 21 front, 24 rearSKF Bearings45mm Rim Depth23mm Internal width31mm External widthWeight: 1349gNo rider weight limitThree year warrantyLifetime crash replacementTubeless valves & tape pre-installed
