Scope Cycling R4.A V2 45mm AllRoad Wheelset is a race-ready wheelset designed for wide tyres, combining aerodynamic efficiency, low weight, and long-term durability for fast road and AllRoad riding. Built using engineering from the Artech series, it delivers proven aerodynamic performance through refined rim profiles, while maintaining strength for consistent use. The 25mm internal width supports modern 30mm tyres for improved rolling efficiency and control, and the sealed mechanical labyrinth system protects internal components from dirt for reliable performance over time. Key Features and Benefits: AEA (Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics) rim design: The rim profile is developed using advanced algorithms to reduce drag across varied yaw angles. This improves airflow stability, helping you maintain speed with less effort and resulting in more efficient riding on mixed road surfaces. Artech-derived rim profile: Based on proven shapes from the Artech series, the rim maintains high aerodynamic efficiency without added complexity. This ensures consistent speed gains while keeping the structure simple and durable for regular use. 25mm internal width hooked tubeless rim: Designed to pair with 30mm tyres, this wider profile improves tyre shape and contact patch. This lowers rolling resistance, increases grip, and delivers better comfort, leading to faster and more controlled riding on varied surfaces. Local Reinforcement carbon lay-up and topology optimisation: Carbon fibres are placed only where needed to increase strength without adding excess material. This creates a stiff yet lightweight wheel that transfers power efficiently and maintains structural integrity over time. Scope R-Series Diamond Ratchet SL hubs with SKF bearings: The ratchet system provides fast and reliable engagement, while high-quality bearings reduce friction. This ensures smooth power transfer and consistent performance with minimal maintenance. Mechanical labyrinth sealing system: A physical barrier system prevents dirt and water from entering the hub internals. This reduces wear on key components and ensures long-term reliability, even in poor riding conditions. The combination of aerodynamic efficiency, wide tyre optimisation, and structural strength supports consistent speed across mixed road surfaces. The 45mm rim depth balances stability and drag reduction, while the lightweight 1398g build ensures responsive acceleration. Durable construction, high-quality hubs, and protective sealing reduce maintenance demands and support long-term performance. This wheelset is supplied with tubeless tape and valves pre-installed, allowing for quick setup and immediate use. Backed by a three-year warranty and lifetime crash replacement, it provides a dependable upgrade for riders who value speed, efficiency, and durability.
