Torq Proto 1:1 Energy Drink When you’re deep into a demanding ride or a marathon session, your body’s ability to process fuel becomes the ultimate gatekeeper of your performance. Traditional energy drinks often rely on ratios that saturate the gut’s glucose transporters, leading to discomfort or "bonking." The Torq Proto 1:1 Energy Drink formula bypasses these bottlenecks by using two different transport pathways, allowing for a smoother, more efficient uptake. With 40g of carbohydrate per serving, this drink provides a reliable, easily digestible base that sits lightly on the stomach while delivering a consistent stream of glucose and fructose to your working muscles. Optimise Your Performance Strategy The Proto 1:1 system is built for athletes who take their fuelling strategy seriously. Because it integrates seamlessly with other products in the Proto range, you can accurately scale your intake to achieve up to 120g of carbohydrate per hour. This high-level fuelling capability is essential for maintaining power output during the final stages of a race. Whether you are attacking a climb or sprinting for the finish line, this professional-grade powder ensures you have the glycogen reserves to perform at your absolute peak, session after session.
