The SRAM Eagle S500 AXS Upgrade Kit is a complete wireless shifting solution that converts your existing Eagle drivetrain to AXS electronic performance without replacing the full groupset. It delivers precise shifting under load, removes cables for a clean setup, and integrates fully with the Eagle ecosystem. The system is built for durability and consistent performance, giving you reliable shifting across all riding conditions with a straightforward upgrade process.Key Features and Benefits:Complete upgrade kit for Eagle drivetrains: This kit includes a rear derailleur, battery, POD controller, charger, and setup tools, allowing you to convert your existing drivetrain to wireless AXS without replacing core components. This reduces cost and complexity while giving you full electronic shifting performance in a single upgrade.AXS rear derailleur with load-based shifting control: The derailleur is engineered to maintain precise gear changes even under high pedalling load. This keeps shifting accurate during climbs and technical sections, so you maintain cadence and control without missed shifts.Wireless AXS platform with no cables: The system removes traditional shift cables and housing, reducing friction, wear, and maintenance points. This results in a cleaner bike setup and more consistent shifting performance over time, with fewer adjustments required.POD controller with customisable input: The controller provides simple, tactile input for shifting and can be configured through the AXS ecosystem. This allows you to tailor button functions to suit your preferences, improving control and making shifting more intuitive during rides.Full compatibility with the Eagle ecosystem: The kit integrates with existing Eagle drivetrain components, ensuring smooth communication between parts. This maintains drivetrain efficiency and ensures reliable performance without the need for a complete system change.Durable construction for all conditions: Each component is designed to handle mud, water, and repeated use without loss of performance. This ensures consistent shifting accuracy in varied riding environments, reducing the need for frequent maintenance or replacement.Consistent and accurate shifting is critical for maintaining control and efficiency across changing terrain. This upgrade kit delivers that through electronic precision and a stable wireless connection. The derailleur responds quickly to input, while the absence of cables removes common sources of friction and inconsistency. The result is a drivetrain that operates with predictable accuracy, allowing you to focus on effort and gear choice without disruption. This upgrade provides a direct route to wireless shifting with minimal setup and strong compatibility. It suits riders who want to modernise their drivetrain without a full replacement, offering a clear improvement in shifting consistency and ease of use.Specifications:Included: Rear derailleur with protector, battery, POD controller with discrete clamp, PowerLock, USB-C charger, chain gap toolDrivetrain compatibility: Eagle ecosystemShifting: Wireless electronic (AXS)Battery: Rechargeable AXS battery includedCharging: USB-C charger includedNOT Compatible with T-Type
