The Fox 36 SL Factory GRIP X2 Fork - 2027 is an ultra-light trail fork that combines sub-1800g weight, precise handling, and a gravity-ready GRIP X2 damper for controlled performance on demanding terrain. It uses a refined 36 SL chassis to keep weight low while maintaining stiffness for accurate steering through technical sections. The 140mm travel is tuned for modern trail riding, offering a balanced mix of climbing efficiency and descending control. Air channels and bleed valves manage internal pressure to keep performance consistent. The Genuine Kashima Coat reduces friction and wear for smooth, durable operation.Key Features and Benefits:Sub-1800g 36 SL chassis: The lightweight chassis reduces overall bike weight without sacrificing structural stiffness. This improves climbing efficiency and reduces fatigue over long rides. The outcome is faster ascents and better control when handling technical terrainGRIP X2 damper with HSC, LSC, HSR, LSR adjustment: Independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound tuning allows precise control over how the fork reacts to impacts and rider input. This ensures consistent damping across varied terrain. The outcome is stable handling and improved control on steep, rough trailsFLOAT EVOL GlideCore air spring: The air spring system increases sensitivity at the start of the travel while maintaining support through the mid and end stroke. This keeps the fork responsive to small bumps and stable on larger impacts. The outcome is improved traction and predictable suspension behaviourGenuine Kashima Coat: The hard anodised coating on the upper tubes reduces friction and resists wear over time. This allows smoother suspension movement and longer service intervals. The outcome is consistent performance and durability in all conditionsAir channels and bleed valves: These features equalise pressure inside the fork lowers during riding. This prevents unwanted pressure build-up that can affect suspension feel. The outcome is reliable performance and consistent travel use on long descents140mm travel trail-tuned platform: The travel is optimised for aggressive trail riding, providing enough suspension for technical descents while keeping efficiency for climbs. This balance supports a wide range of riding conditions. The outcome is a versatile fork that performs across varied terrainLow weight with controlled suspension performance defines how this fork supports modern trail riding. The combination of the GRIP X2 damper and FLOAT EVOL GlideCore air spring ensures the fork remains composed under load while maintaining sensitivity to small inputs. The 36 SL chassis keeps steering precise without adding unnecessary weight, which helps maintain efficiency across longer rides. Consistent damping and pressure management features ensure the fork performs reliably across repeated impacts and extended descents. This fork suits riders who want accurate handling, low weight, and dependable suspension performance across varied terrain. Its balance of efficiency and control makes it a practical upgrade for modern trail bikes built around 29" wheels and progressive geometry.SpecificationsSeries: FactoryWheel Size: 29"Travel: 140mmDamper: GRIP X2Damper Controls: HSC - LSC - HSR - LSRAir Spring: FLOAT EVOL GlideCoreChassis: StandardAxle: Kabolt-X 110Rake: 44mmSteerer: 1.5 TaperedUpper Tube Finish: KashimaAir Channels: YesBleeders: YesFloating Axle: NoRotor Size: 180 direct Post Mount, up to 203 compatibleMud Guard Mount: Optional FOX 36/38 Mud Guard
