The Transition PBJ Dirt Jump Bike - 2026 is a purpose-built dirt jump and pump track bike with a lightweight aluminium frame, updated geometry, and size-specific handling for modern jump riding. The redesigned hydro-formed 6061 aluminium frame keeps the bike light, strong, and compact, while the short chainstay design and low standover height improve control during manuals, jumps, and quick direction changes. With a Marzocchi Bomber DJ fork, adjustable geometry feel, and simple single-speed setup, the PBJ is built for dirt jumps, skate parks, and pump tracks where fast handling and precise movement matter most.Key Features and Benefits:Hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame: The hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame combines low weight with high strength, helping the bike stay responsive during jumps, pump sections, and technical park riding. The compact frame shape and low standover height create more space to move around the bike, improving control during tricks, rotations, and fast line changes. This gives you a stable but agile platform that stays predictable under heavy use.Extremely short 377 - 395mm adjustable chainstay length: The short rear end keeps handling quick and responsive, making it easier to lift the front wheel, pump transitions, and change direction with less effort. The adjustable dropout system also lets you fine tune the bike's feel depending on riding style or terrain. This creates a more precise ride character that works well for dirt jumps, pump tracks, and technical skate park lines. Two size-specific geometry options: The Short and Standard frame sizes allow you to choose handling that matches your riding style and height. The Short size delivers a more compact and reactive feel for technical tricks and tighter movement, while the Standard size improves stability for bigger jumps and higher speeds. This helps you get a bike setup that feels balanced and controlled without losing responsiveness.Marzocchi Bomber DJ 100mm fork: The Bomber DJ fork is designed specifically for dirt jump riding, with a stiff chassis and controlled suspension performance that handles hard landings and repeated impacts. The 100 mm travel keeps the front end supportive without reducing responsiveness. This helps maintain speed and accuracy through jump lines and pump sections while reducing harsh feedback through the bars.Integrated chain tensioners with tool-free adjustment: Built-in chain tensioners help keep the rear wheel aligned and make chain tension adjustments simple. The tool-free design speeds up setup changes and reduces maintenance time between sessions. This keeps the drivetrain running smoothly and prevents wheel movement during hard pedalling and landings.Internal or external cable routing compatibility: The frame supports both internal and external brake routing, allowing you to choose between a cleaner appearance or easier brake maintenance. The external option also supports gyro setups for bar spins and park riding. This gives you more flexibility when customising the bike for different riding styles or future upgrades. The PBJ focuses on quick handling, efficient pumping speed, and reliable control during repeated jump sessions. The lightweight frame and compact geometry help maintain momentum through rollers and transitions without feeling unstable at speed. The single-speed drivetrain reduces maintenance and keeps power transfer direct, while the Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tyres provide fast rolling grip for hard-packed dirt, wood ramps, and concrete surfaces. Combined with the durable wheelset and dirt jump-specific suspension fork, the PBJ delivers a controlled and predictable ride feel that supports progression across jumps, pump tracks, and skate park features. The updated PBJ brings modern geometry, practical setup features, and proven dirt jump components into one focused package. With two frame sizes, adjustable handling characteristics, and a strong aluminium chassis, it offers a balanced setup for riders developing new skills or refining technical lines across multiple riding environments.Size Guide:SHORT: The "Short" size was designed not only for shorter humans, but also to complement riders looking for a precise feel that allows for ultimate creativity. This size may just help you land that next rotation, boost out of the quarter pipe, or nail the trickiest of manual lines with a 377-395mm chainstay length and 395mm reach.STANDARD: The "Standard" size is best for riders looking to sharpen their skills at the pumptrack, or prefer a more stable geo for bigger jumps and higher speeds without sacrificing the playfulness of the short rear end. This size has the same 377-395mm chainstay length as the short, and is paired with a 420mm reach.
