Specialized Crux 5 S-Level Axs Gravel Bike The Crux 5 S-Level gravel bike is engineered for the competitive cyclist who seeks the perfect equilibrium between elite-tier performance and rugged durability. Utilising a FACT 10r carbon frame that tips the scales at 897 grams, this machine provides a remarkably stiff and responsive platform for explosive accelerations. At a total weight of 7.7 kilograms, it remains one of the lightest gravel bikes in its class, ensuring that every ounce of energy you expend is translated into upward momentum. This bike is built on the philosophy that true speed is found in the intersection of low mass and high efficiency, making it an ideal choice for riders who want to dominate long-distance events without the fragility of ultra-lightweight specialty builds. Professional Aerodynamics and Integration Despite its off-road pedigree, the Crux 5 S-Level borrows heavily from world-class road technology to minimise drag across varied terrain. The inclusion of the Roval Terra integrated cockpit ensures a clean frontal profile, tucking cables away from the wind and providing a streamlined aesthetic that matches its performance. Paired with Roval Terra CL wheels, the bike maintains exceptional stability in crosswinds while offering the aerodynamic benefits necessary to sustain high speeds on flat, exposed gravel sectors. These components work in unison to deliver a lower real-world time to finish, validated by professional riders who require a bike that stays fast even when the course gets grueling. Precision Shifting and Refined Handling Equipped with the top-tier SRAM RED XPLR drivetrain, the Crux 5 S-Level offers a premium shifting experience that is both wireless and instantaneous. The wide-range gearing is specifically optimised for gravel racing, allowing you to find the perfect cadence whether you are navigating a technical climb or sprinting for the finish line. The handling is designed to be intuitive and sharp, mimicking the legendary Tarmac to ensure you can carve through corners with total confidence. By combining this surgical precision with high-performance componentry, the S-Level provides a race-ready package that handles the transition from smooth gravel to chunky trails with unparalleled poise.
