Transition Spur Eagle 90 Full Suspension Mountain Bike - 2026 is a fast, light, and capable XC bike built for race pace and modern singletrack. Its 120mm rear travel and 130mm Fox Float 34 SL Performance fork give it more control on rough ground, while the Spur Carbon frame keeps it sharp on climbs. A SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission, DT Swiss XR 1700 wheels, and Maxxis Forkaster 3C EXO+ tyres complete a build made for speed, grip, and all-day trail use.Key Features and Benefits:120mm rear and 130mm front travel: The Spur pairs 120mm of rear suspension with a 130mm Fox Float 34 SL Performance fork, giving you more front-end support on rough descents. This adds control on steep, fast, or technical trails while keeping the bike efficient enough for long climbs and race efforts.Spur Carbon frame: The carbon frame keeps weight low while giving the bike a stiff and responsive ride feel. This helps transfer power well when climbing, sprinting, or changing pace, so the bike feels quick without losing trail strength.Progressive flex stay suspension: The flex stay rear end gives the bike a smooth first stroke with firm support deeper in the travel. This helps the rear wheel track uneven ground, adds grip under load, and gives the bike a controlled feel through repeated hits.C.H.I.P.S. geometry adjustment: The C.H.I.P.S. system lets you adjust the head tube angle by 0.5 degrees and the bottom bracket height by 7mm. This gives you a simple way to tune the bike for sharper handling or added stability, so it can suit different trails and riding styles.SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type drivetrain: The Eagle 90 drivetrain uses a 10-52T cassette with a SRAM GX Eagle Transmission chain and SRAM Eagle DUB crank. This gives you a wide gear range for steep climbs, fast flats, and varied terrain, with strong shifting under trail load.DT Swiss XR 1700 Spline wheels: The DT Swiss XR 1700 wheels use DT Swiss 350 hubs with a Ratchet 54 system for fast pick-up and proven strength. This gives the bike a light, reliable wheelset that responds well when you accelerate, climb, or push through rough sections.Maxxis Forkaster 3C EXO+ tyres: The 29" Maxxis Forkaster tyres use a 2.4" width, 3C compound, and EXO+ casing for a balance of speed, grip, and added sidewall support. This helps the bike roll fast while giving enough bite and protection for mixed trail use.Practical frame details: Internal cable routing, B.O.O.M. Box frame storage, size-specific chainstays, a threaded 73mm bottom bracket, SRAM UDH, and built-in Loam Hat pivot protection make the Spur easier to live with. These details keep the bike clean, quiet, balanced, and simple to maintain over regular use.The Spur Eagle 90 is built for riders who want XC speed with more trail capability than a classic XC race bike. The 120mm rear travel, 130mm fork, progressive suspension, and adjustable geometry give it the support needed for rougher terrain. The light carbon frame, wide-range SRAM drivetrain, and fast DT Swiss wheels help it stay efficient when the pace is high.Choose the Transition Spur Eagle 90 if you want a full suspension mountain bike that can handle race day, long singletrack rides, and fast trail sessions with the same direct feel. It gives you a strong mix of low weight, control, and practical frame design in one modern XC platform.
