The Shimano BR-M6220 Deore 4 Pot Disc Brake Kit is a fully bled hydraulic brake kit built for strong, stable control on demanding MTB rides. Its opposed 4-piston calliper helps spread braking force across the pads for better control and more even pad wear. The kit comes without adapters or rotors, so you can match it to your bike and your preferred rotor setup.Key Features and Benefits:Fully bled hydraulic brake kit: The lever, hose and calliper come pre-bled, which helps reduce workshop time and makes setup more direct. This gives you a brake system that is ready for fitting with less prep work.Opposed 4-piston calliper design: The four pistons press the pads with balanced force from both sides of the rotor. This improves braking control, reduces leading effect and helps the pads wear more evenly over time.Rotor choice and compatibility: The brake can be used with Shimano Center Lock rotors or standard 6-bolt rotors in 160mm, 180mm or 203mm sizes. This makes it easier to match the brake to your frame, fork, hubs and riding needs.Two-piece post mount calliper: The rigid and durable calliper body supports stable braking under load. This helps keep the brake feel consistent when you need firm and controlled stopping power.Ergonomic alloy lever with reach adjustment: The lever shape supports comfort and control, while reach adjustment lets you set the lever position to suit your hand size. This helps you keep a secure grip and a natural braking feel.Cuttable hose with spare olives and insert: The kit includes the parts needed to shorten the hose if required. This helps create a cleaner fit and keeps the brake setup matched to your bike. This brake kit is made for riders who want dependable stopping power with a controlled lever feel. The 4-piston calliper gives extra braking support for steeper trails, heavier loads and faster riding. The mineral oil system stays stable across a wide temperature range, which helps keep the brake feel more consistent on long descents.Choose the front or rear fitment to suit your setup, with a 1000mm hose for front use or a 1700mm hose for rear use. With I-Spec EV compatibility, reach adjustment and flexible rotor options, this kit gives you a strong base for a neat and reliable brake upgrade.
