Enve SES Disc Pro Rear Wheel The ENVE SES Disc Pro rear wheel represents the absolute pinnacle of aerodynamic innovation, engineered without compromise for race-winning performance. Developed over a full year in close partnership with UAE Team Emirates-XRG, this wheel line pushes every performance metric to the absolute limit. By building upon the proven aerodynamics of previous generations, ENVE has managed to shed an incredible 200 grams while simultaneously improving both rolling efficiency and stability through updated shaping. Weighing in at just 1030 grams with the valve, this disc wheel delivers the uncompromising Real-World Fast performance required to dominate time trials and triathlons. Optimised shaping and modern tubeless performance Designed specifically for the critical yaw angles encountered in elite racing, the SES Disc Pro is aero-optimised around 28mm tyres to ensure you maintain maximum velocity against the clock. It features a wide 22mm internal rim width that perfectly supports modern high-volume rubber, though it is vital to note that this high-performance rim is compatible with tubeless tyres only. This modern configuration allows for lower tyre pressures, resulting in a smoother ride, decreased rolling resistance, and superior cornering traction. By combining extreme weight savings with a wider, more stable profile, this wheel ensures you do not have to sacrifice handling confidence to achieve elite aerodynamic efficiency. Elite innerdrive internals and premium ceramic bearings At the centre of this wheel are the lightweight INNERDRIVE PRO rear hub internals, which utilise the exact hop-up kit developed for ENVE’s professional teams. This premium system features a 40-tooth count ratchet paired with a light-action ratchet spring specifically designed to minimise drag. To ensure friction is reduced to an absolute minimum, the hub is equipped with ENVE PRO ceramic bearings, featuring rust-proof hardened stainless-steel races and high-grade ceramic ball carriers. A dual-seal design uses a non-contact interior seal to eliminate drag and a semi-contact exterior seal to keep out road debris, delivering a drivetrain interaction that feels lightning-fast in hand and promises ultimate reliability over countless race miles.
