The Cube Descender Helmet is a full-face mountain bike helmet built for downhill riding. It is Cube's first full-face helmet developed fully in-house. Its tough ABS shell, multi-density foam and MIPS system provide high protection against direct and rotational impacts. A breakaway visor, secure fit system and 21 large vents add safety and comfort on demanding trails.Key Features and Benefits:ABS, EPS and EPP construction with MIPS: The robust ABS outer shell protects the inner layers from hard impacts and abrasion. EPS and EPP foam help absorb impact energy, while MIPS allows controlled movement between the helmet and head. This helps reduce the rotational forces that can occur during an angled impact.Fixed breakaway visor: The visor stays secure during normal use but is designed to detach in a controlled way during a crash. This reduces the risk of the visor catching on the ground and transferring twisting forces to the neck and spine.21 large ventilation channels: Large air channels move cool air through the helmet and allow warm air to escape. The open layout supports airflow at lower speeds, which helps control heat during steep descents, technical sections and uplift days.CORE GRIP Fit System: The height-adjustable fit system can be operated with one hand for quick and accurate adjustment. It holds the helmet evenly around the head, which limits unwanted movement without creating pressure in one area.Natural Fit Concept with interchangeable cheek pads: Cube's Natural Fit Concept shapes the helmet around the head for stable and balanced support. Cheek pads in different thicknesses can be fitted to adjust the internal space and create a closer, more secure fit.COOLMAX padding: The internal COOLMAX pads move moisture away from the skin and help it dry faster. This keeps the contact areas more comfortable during hard riding and helps reduce the build-up of sweat inside the helmet.Magnetic Fidlock fastener: The magnetic buckle guides both parts of the fastener together and locks them securely. It can be opened and closed with one hand, even while wearing gloves, which makes the helmet easier to manage between runs.Goggle, glasses and accessory compatibility: The helmet works with mountain bike goggles and cycling glasses, while the visor includes a hook-and-loop X-Lock-ready mounting point. A compatible adapter can hold an action camera or light without the need for a fixed mount on the shell. The Cube Descender Helmet provides the coverage and secure fit needed for downhill and technical mountain bike riding. Its layered impact protection helps manage different crash forces, while the adjustable fit and replaceable cheek pads keep the helmet stable. Effective ventilation and moisture-control padding also support comfort over repeated runs.Choose the Cube Descender Helmet for full-face protection with a practical fit, controlled airflow and simple glove-friendly adjustment. It is a well-equipped option for riders who need dependable coverage on demanding terrain.
