The Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Silver Ceramic Disc Wheelset is a light carbon road wheelset made for fast, stable and precise riding. High-end ceramic bearings reduce friction, while the 45mm rims balance aero speed with firm control. A refined silver finish gives the wheelset a clean and distinct look.Key Features and Benefits:Mavic Ceramic bearings: High-end ceramic bearings use low-density grease and ultra-low-friction seals to reduce drag. This helps the hubs spin with less resistance and makes better use of each watt.Fast ID360 freewheel system: The ID360 system engages as soon as you apply power. This creates a direct response when you accelerate, climb or restart after a corner.Refined silver finish: The silver finish gives the carbon rims a clean and detailed appearance. It creates a distinct wheel build while retaining the same technical performance.45mm aero rim profile: The 45mm depth helps reduce air resistance without using a very deep rim. This supports efficient speed while keeping the wheels stable in changing winds.23mm Aero Wide rim: The wide internal profile creates a smooth link between the tyre and rim, which helps reduce air disturbance. It also forms a wider tyre shape for better control, comfort and grip at lower pressures.FORE spoke system: The rim bridge is threaded so each spoke connects to the rim at the correct angle. This increases stiffness, limits spoke movement and keeps the upper bridge sealed for a simple tubeless setup.Unidirectional carbon construction: The rims use 100% unidirectional carbon fibre to combine strength with a low wheelset weight of 1480g. This keeps the bike responsive during climbs, changes of pace and quick steering inputs.Modern road compatibility: The wheelset uses 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear thru-axles, with Centre Lock rotor mounts and UST Tubeless Ready rims. This provides a secure fit with current road disc bikes and supports lower tyre pressures without inner tubes. The blend of a 45mm rim depth, low 1480g weight and wide 23mm internal profile suits varied road routes. The wheels can hold speed on open roads, respond well on climbs and support wider tyres on rough surfaces. This gives you one precise wheelset for training, fast group rides and road events.Choose the correct freehub body for your drivetrain and give your road bike a light, efficient and stable wheel upgrade. Register the wheelset with Mavic to extend the standard two-year warranty to three years.Specifications:Profile depth: 45mmInner width: 23mmFront axle: 12 x 100mmRear axle: 12 x 142mmDiscipline: RoadSpokes: Steel, Straight, aero Rim Diameter: 700cNipples: Brass BlackRim material: 100% unidirectional carbon fibreTyre compatibility: UST Tubeless ReadyMaximum weight: 120kg including bikeBraking system: Centre lock onlyBearings: QRM automatic setting - sealed cartridgeETRTO Size: 622x23TCWeight: 1480gFront Weight: 675gRear Weight: 805g
