The Cube Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro 400X 24" Kids e-Bike - 2027 is a trail-ready electric mountain bike built around the needs of younger riders. Its lightweight Bosch Performance SX drive and 400Wh battery provide up to 60Nm of support, with assistance up to 20km/h. A kid-specific fit, 80mm suspension fork and dependable Shimano components give young riders the control they need on roads, tracks and trails.Key Features and Benefits:Bosch Performance SX motor and 400Wh battery: The lightweight Bosch drive provides up to 60Nm of pedal support, with assistance up to 20km/h. The CompactTube 400 battery sits inside the frame to keep weight centred and reduce bulk. This helps younger riders tackle climbs and longer family rides with less effort.Kid-specific riding position: A 590mm Cube Kids handlebar uses a slim 19mm diameter, while Natural Fit Kids grips suit smaller hands. Shorter 160mm cranks also suit shorter legs. These parts make the controls easier to reach and help the rider stay in a natural position on the bike.SR Suntour XCT fork with 80mm travel: The suspension fork helps absorb bumps and impacts from rough tracks and trails. Its 80mm of movement gives the front wheel room to react to uneven ground. This improves comfort and helps the rider keep the bike under control when the surface gets rough.Shimano Cues 1x9 drivetrain: The Cues RD-U4000-GS rear derailleur works with an 11-46T cassette to give a useful spread of nine gears. The single-chainring design removes the need for a front shifter, so gear changes are easier to manage. Young riders can select an easier gear for climbs without dealing with a complex drivetrain.Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes: Hydraulic braking gives smooth and controlled stopping power with less hand force than many cable-operated systems. This suits smaller hands and helps the rider control speed with confidence on slopes, loose tracks and wet ground.Trail-ready frame, wheels and tyres: The Aluminum Superlite frame uses Boost 148 rear spacing and a UDH gear hanger. ACID ZX20 tubeless-ready rims are paired with 2.1in Schwalbe Rocket Ron tyres for grip on mixed terrain. The result is a strong and practical setup that is ready for regular off-road use.The Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro is designed to help a younger rider cover more ground without giving up the feel and control of a proper mountain bike. The frame also supports an optional 250Wh Bosch PowerMore range extender, a dropper seatpost and a SIC 2.0 carrier. This gives the bike room to adapt as riding distances and needs change. For a young rider who needs extra support on climbs and longer rides, the Cube Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro 400X offers a well-sized and capable package. Its Bosch drive, kid-specific controls and proven mountain bike parts make it a practical choice for family rides and off-road use.
