During the ground-up design process, our engineering team focused on three core performance tenets: Fit. Breathability. Value. Fit and breathability are amply handled via our Ventilated DH Air padding and the Ionic+™ Antimicrobial comfort liner, which uses silver metalized yarn for helmet odor control. We spec'd the helmet with 14 vents to prioritize ventilation, regardless of where the helmet is being ridden. And we've added a Fidlock® buckle for easy, one-handed release. Finally, in addition to both ASTM Downhill and BMX certs, we included Mips® to help reduce rotational forces in some impacts. We did all of this with you, the privateer, in mind.
