Zipp 303 Xplr Sw Cl Disc Tubeless Gravel Wheel Set. Unleash pure gravel speed with the ZIPP 303 XPLR SW, Zipp´s fastest-ever gravel wheelset. Rejecting modified road designs, Zipp engineered these wheels around the ideal gravel tire using its Total System Efficiency philosophy. The ultra-wide 32mm internal, hookless carbon rim is purpose-built to reduce rolling resistance and vibration losses on rough surfaces. Paired with the reliable ZR1 disc brake hub, this wheelset provides unmatched velocity, control, and durability when the pavement ends. It´s speed, redefined for gravel. With its ultra-wide, high-profile rim, ideally suited to gravel tires, the 303 XPLR SW is Zipp´s fastest gravel wheel ever. Current gravel wheels are slightly modified versions of existing road wheels, focused on stiffness and lightness. Zipp took a different approach by focusing exclusively on speed. In gravel, the main obstacles to speed are rolling resistance, vibration losses on rough surfaces, and wind. To address these, Zipp applied its Total System Efficiency design philosophy to the challenges of gravel. The 303 XPLR SW is a gravel wheel built for speed, with a new approach: starting with the ideal gravel tire and designing a wheel on the tire.
