Engineered for pure speed, its super-aero 85mm rim slices through wind with minimal drag, offering exceptional stability even in crosswinds. Featuring UST Tubeless technology for reduced rolling resistance and Fore Carbon drilling for enhanced stiffness and simplified setup, this wheel converts every watt into momentum. The Infinity hub and Instant Drive 360 freewheel ensure responsive power transfer and near-instantaneous engagement for explosive acceleration. The fastest Mavic spoked wheel ever, built for racers seeking a definitive competitive edge. Your super-aero lightweight wheels. The fastest Mavic spoked wheels ever made.Unleash your maximum potential with the MAVIC Comete 85 CL Disc Tubeless rear wheel, an engineering marvel designed for one purpose: pure, unadulterated speed. This wheel is the ultimate choice for dedicated road racers, triathletes, and time trial specialists seeking a definitive competitive edge when every second counts. It represents the pinnacle of aerodynamic research and development, built to slice through the air with minimal resistance and convert every watt of your power into forward momentum. The deep 85mm rim profile is the heart of its aerodynamic prowess. Developed through extensive wind-tunnel testing and featuring a sophisticated NACA-inspired shape, it dramatically reduces drag, allowing you to maintain higher speeds with less effort. This design isn´t just fast in a straight line, it´s engineered for exceptional stability in challenging crosswinds, giving you the confidence to stay in an aggressive, aerodynamic position even when conditions are unpredictable.Performance is further enhanced by Mavic´s proven UST Tubeless technology. By eliminating the inner tube, you benefit from significantly lower rolling resistance, a smoother ride quality that reduces fatigue, and superior traction. This system also offers a reduced risk of flats, allowing you to race with greater peace of mind. The innovative Fore Carbon drilling technology creates a completely sealed upper rim bridge, increasing the rim´s overall stiffness and eliminating the need for tubeless tape, which simplifies tyre mounting and saves crucial grams. At the core of the wheel lies the state-of-the-art Infinity hub platform, optimized for the demands of modern disc brake systems. This hub design allows for ideal spoke tension and lacing, resulting in a highly responsive and durable wheel that transfers power flawlessly. Paired with the ultra-reliable Instant Drive 360 freewheel system, it provides near-instantaneous engagement for explosive accelerations out of corners and on sharp inclines. Every pedal stroke is immediately translated into speed, leaving no power wasted. This wheel is purpose-built for those who demand the highest level of performance on flat and rolling terrain, where aerodynamic efficiency is paramount.Key Attributes:* Size: 28´´- 700* Material: Carbon* Brake Type: Disc Brake* Position: Rear* Discipline: Road Cycling* Tyre Type: TubelessTechnical Specifications:* Rim Depth: 85mm* Internal Rim Width: 19mm* Brake Compatibility: Disc Brake Center Lock* Freewheel System: Instant Drive 360* Rear Axle: 12x142mm Thru-Axle compatible* Spokes: 24, straight-pull, elliptical aero, double-butted* Recommended Tyre Sizes: 25mm to 32mm* ASTM Category 2: For road and off-road with jumps of less than 15cm. tradeinn Bikeinn
