MAVIC Ellipse II Track Rear WheelExperience the perfect fusion of velodrome performance and urban resilience with the MAVIC Ellipse II Track rear wheel. Built for the track, ready for the streets, these 30mm aero aluminum wheels deliver speed and strength for fixed/track bikes. The Ellipse II has earned its reputation as a training and racing essential for track and fixed-gear riders, offering an unbeatable combination of aerodynamic efficiency, robust strength, and a responsive, stiff ride quality that you can feel with every pedal stroke.Unmatched Aerodynamic Efficiency and SpeedEngineered for pure velocity, the Ellipse II features a 30mm deep rim profile that masterfully slices through the air, reducing drag and allowing you to maintain higher speeds with less effort. This aerodynamic advantage is crucial for timed events on the track and for conserving energy during long, fast-paced urban commutes. The low spoke count and bladed, straight-pull spokes further enhance its aero credentials, minimizing wind resistance and contributing to a stable, predictable ride, even when you´re pushing your limits in a final sprint.Superior Stiffness for Explosive Power TransferAt the heart of the Ellipse II´s legendary performance is its exceptional lateral stiffness. This wheel is built to handle the immense forces generated during standing starts and all-out sprints. The robust hub design and strong spoke lacing ensure that every watt of power you produce is transferred directly to the pavement without flex or energy loss. This results in instantaneous acceleration and a highly responsive feel, giving you the confidence to launch powerful attacks on the track or navigate dynamic city traffic with precision and control. The rear hub features a convenient double-sided flip-flop design, allowing you to mount two different cogs on the same wheel for ultimate gearing versatility.Legendary Durability for Track and StreetWhile optimized for the controlled environment of the velodrome, the MAVIC Ellipse II is built with the durability to conquer the unpredictable challenges of the urban landscape. Its robust construction benefits from Mavic´s advanced rim technology, featuring an SUP welded and milled joint for superior strength and perfect wheel balance. The high-quality QRM+ cartridge bearings are not only incredibly smooth for minimal rolling resistance but are also highly durable and fully adjustable, ensuring long-lasting performance and easy maintenance. This is a wheel you can train on, race on, and ride every day with complete confidence.Attributes:* Wheel Size: 28´´- 700* Material: Aluminum* Tyre Type: Clincher* Rim Profile: Low profile < 30 mm* Position: Rear* Brake Type: Rim Brake* Discipline: Road Cycling, TrackTechnical Specifications:* ETRTO Size: 622x15C* Rim Height: 30 mm* Rim Joint: SUP welding technology* Spokes: Steel, straight pull, bladed* Spoke Count: 20* Lacing: Crossed 2* Recommended Tyre Widths: 21 to 28 mm* Valve Hole Diameter: 6.5 mm. tradeinn Bikeinn
